round cranberry colored pill with numbers 544. the 44 is imprinted deeper. ## I believe that this is Walmart's Equate Stool Softener Plus Stimulant Laxative (Compare to Peri-Colase). It contains two active ingredients: Docusate Sodium 50mg and Sennosides 8.6mg. (As of December 2014) ## The prior identification is correct, it is still available in this same formulation. It is a laxative. The FDA warns that it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea. Is there anything I can help with?

I am assuming it is Dan Dan 5443 because the other characteristics you list match. This is an anti-imflammatory, steroidal medication called Prednisone. It is used to reduce the imflammation in the joints, lungs, heart and many other types of imflammation.
