I did not remember if I had taken the above pill this morning so I took another pill -- that equals 60 MG. Did I do the right thing? Isosorbide mn er 30ml was added about 8 days ago to my mother meds. She is 85. Two and a half days ago she started complaining of pain from her upper thigh going down toward her knees in both legs. i HAVE BEEN ON ISOSORBIDE MN ER FOR 6 DAYS NOW SINCE AN ANGIOGRAM WAS PERFORMED. I HAVE A COUPLE ARTERIES/VESSELS THAT HAVE SOME BLOCKAGE, BUT MAIN ARTERIES ARE FINE AND BLOOD FLOW TO HEART EXCELLENT. However, this medicine is giving me bad headaches and lightheadness...Does this improve after more time on the medicine ## It may improve some, but I have to say that it really doesn't for the largest percentage of people that take it and is a very commonly complained of side effect. I had a very bad reaction to 1 dose of isosorbide within an hour of taking it. Severe headach, threw up and my headach has lasted 5 days! Will it ever go away? ## Have you contacted your doctor? Both of those can be common side effects of Isosorbide, but with the headache being very severe and lasting that long, you should seek medical attention.

Does this medication also treat fatigue if it is related to a narrowing of a coronary artery? My husband's LAD has a small area of ischemia which has caused slight chest pain but he has been angina free every since his stress test which showed the above. He took one 1/2 tablet of Isosorbide min er 30 mg. as doc directed and experienced some light headedness. and decided not to take it anymore. I had a cardiac catheterization. This was prescribed as a follow-up drug. Label says "dizziness" is a side affect. Why? What does this cause/affect that would make me dizzy? Isosorbide MN ER 30 MG - I took this drug - 1 each day - for 1 1/2 months to relieve the steady pain of Esophageal Spasms and developed severe headaches. Thought at first it was from arthritis in my back so went a chiropractor for 1 month - no help there. Stopped taking this drug for 4 nights and "WOW" No headaches.
