I am suffering from Allergy which causes running nose 365 days, mild headache and eye irritation. Tried some treatments and in vain started using Cetirizine Hydrochloride 10 mg tablets in regular basis like whenever there is running nose use the tablet for three days or week days till its severity comes down. Is it correct or can I use the medicine everyday one tablet for few months to get rid off this allergy. ## Certirizine is an antihistamine, commonly sold in the US under the brand name Zyrtec. Every single day I wake up and spend about 5 minutes hacking up thick, yellow mucus. It is so thick it keeps me from swallowing and even blowing my nose. I have been to 3 Odontologists and no one has been able to help me. I have tried a number of nasal spays and prescription medications with no success. In contrast my nose runs excessively to the extent that I blow my nose on paper towels instead of tissues. Mucinex doesn't help either. I am desperate for some relief. HERPES ZOSTER VACCINE ## I have had Herpes Simplex which should effect my mouth. My Igm titer which should be less than 20 is 785. I get Herpes everywhere and on both sides of my body. Immunologist looked at my outbreak and after bloodwork for EVERYTHING she said I had Herpes in my DNA. First outbreak, 1975 as appendix burst. Since then, I'm 65 now, I get outbreaks every other month and before it comes the lymp nodes in the area it will be in swell, giving me a sign . I cannot have any prednisone or cortisone as she said it would really blow up my already painful shingles. And once you have a few outbreaks the vaccine is not recommended. Over 15yrs.ago, I was taken off Theodur and introduce to Azmacort. And oow what a relief it is. I was able to do more than walk. I was able to jog from 3 to 5miles a day without the exercise induced asthma. The cold air in the winter no longer collaped my lunges when going out to jog. Now its all down hill. Gone is the jogging and I use to participate in the Senior Olympics. Someone goofed. Bad decision. I tried all other medications to no avail. Does contact dermatitis ever go away completely. I have used the .05 percent cream. It subsided while I was using it but came right back even after a refill tube. Is the next step to use the .12 percent cream ## Hi, Linda! Sorry about the problem that you're having. I get it too, so I know it can be quite annoying. Contact dermatitis is actually caused by an allergic reaction to something, so they only way to get it to go away permanently would be to discover what substance or substances are causing the allergic reaction and avoid them in the future. Have you visited an allergist/immunologist? They can usually test you for various substances that you may commonly be exposed to in order to figure out what the triggers may be.
