I am on APO-MEDROXY 10 mgs once a day for post menopausal abnormal bleeding. can this pill be cut in half and only 1/2 taken daily ? ## How long have you been taking it? Has it helped the bleeding, so far? You should probably consult your doctor, before making any changes to the dosage. I also have to admit that I am not familiar with the APO tablet, so I am not sure if it is safe to cut in half. Is there any labeling on the bottle that warns against doing so?

Post menopause - no medications for 10 years, until recently when needed help for symptoms. In my 4th month now of this tablet, taken with 10 days progesterone.
