In theory, it shouldn't, but there's never anyway to know how any specific medication will affect any given person that tries it. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, weight gain and anxiety. Did your doctor prescribe it for you?

I have severe muscle pain and joint pain in elbows,legs,shoulders,lower back . Been taking it for about a year. Feels like same symptoms I once had when I found out I was allergic to statins. But it was so long ago I don't remember how long before pain stopped. ## Hello, Turridu! How are you? If you were on it for about a year, it might take several weeks for these side effects to taper off and go away. If they continue after about a month of being off of it, then you should consult your doctor as there may be something else going on. It is sold in the United States as urethral suppositories and in an inj. form. The suppositories are sold under the brand name MUSE (Medicated Urethral Suppository for Erection). The inj. forms are Edex and Caverject. From what I could gather this drug is not sold in other countries except U.S. and Canada. Had Radical Prostectomy over 2 years ago, prescribed the usual Cialis (no effect), Penis Pump (works but you have to like the colour purple), Muse (poor effect with burning sensation) and finally Caverject. Like others first dose under supervision 10mg, almost instant erection (nurse was impressed!), was happy bunny, but 3 hours later less happy and wished it would subside, did eventually but realised dosage too high. Settled on 7.5 which worked well for a while then had several failures even though I was extremely careful with injection site, even with upped dose still unpredictable. As I have been using for some time was wondering if the issue of internal scarring on the site a problem, even though it has been varied at all times. Tried normal dose, if did not work pushed plunger back...
