Have just finished chemo treatment Herceptin but still in body. I have bladder Infection. Prescribed Sulfatrim DS 800mg/160mg. Will they interact OK? ## Hello, Sunshine! How are you? I didn't find any problems or interactions listed, but it's always best to double check such information to be sure. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

I wonder if this drug has side effects. Thanks ## Did you mean to say Herceptin? Herceptin is used in the treatment of HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer. I had stage 3 her2 positive breast cancer and had 2 ops, chemo, radio, herceptin and am on tamoxifen for 5 years with about 14 months to go. Apart from the weight gain, blurred vision, aches&pains, hot flushes etc I suffer from awful bloating. This seems to have become worse the longer I am on this drug. Has anyone been prescribed anything to counteract this? If so what? I have tried over the counter remedies, probiotics etc but not much help really.

I recently went through bilateral mastectomy due to breast cancer. Chemo & herceptin treatments all done, but because of continual pain I was on percocet for a year, and then switched to 12mcg fentanyl patch, and recently up to a 25mcg patch. I do not want to keep taking these pain meds. So....I stopped cold turkey the patch and I am not able to sleep at night, restless body syndrome, hot & cold spells & extreme anxiety.
