Is this safe to take? Ther was something on media of two ingredients in this med that had been found as unsafe. My husband was prescribed Folbee Tab Brec . I would like to know what these ingredients are and if it is safe for my husband to continue this supplement? ## Hi Molly, Are you referring to the Folbee B vitamin complex tablets? If so, I haven't read any reports deeming it unsafe to use. Maybe there is some sort of "inactive" ingredient that is causing problems? I know propylene glycol is an inactive ingredient that is commonly used in some vitamins and prescription drugs as well as beauty products (yuck!), it can be very toxic and harmful to the body over time. This is a Vitamin B complex, with additional Vitamin C. I do not know why this particular brand name is not available in the US, but it is most likely because there are many that contain the same ingredients on the market. Hi, Is Daneuron , which consists of Vitamin B1, B6 B12 suitable for a vegetarian who does not take eggs, garlic, scallian ,leek achives and animal origin? ## Hi Aik, I believe that supplement should be suitable. However, I actually recommend patch/trans dermal or sublingual versions of supplements because they deliver more of the active ingredients straight into the blood stream- as opposed to getting digested. Also, be sure that the version of B-12 is Methylcobalamin and not Cyanocobalamin. Cyanocobalamin is actually the synthetically derived version of B -12 and is ineffective in some people who lack the enzyme that's needed to digest it.
