information ## Is Anaproxen and Naproxen cousins? Are they the same?? ## The active ingredient in Anaprox is Naproxen, so they are the same. Was this prescribed for you? ## Can the Anaproxen capsule be addictive? is it possible that it becomes an addiction? ## It is not as addicting as something such as a narcotic, but our bodies can become dependent on anything that we use regularly for a long period of time and if we stop taking it abruptly, we will experience withdrawal symptoms. ## withdrawal symptons? i'm 17 years old. i think i've become dependant on it. with every little pain, i need to take one, but it's a need even if the pain is little, and when i say little, i mean tiny. white long not scored pill with H 2 on one side and blank on the other. rounded on the ends ## H2 is actually 550 mg of Naproxen ( Anaprox ), which does provide pain relief but is totally different from Hydrocodone. This is actually considered an anti-inflammatory, whereas Hydocodone is a narcotic. ## Roy is absolutely correct, this is not a narcotic, nor related to one. This is a prescription strength of the medication your normally see sold over the counter in the name brand medication Aleve. ## I have crontic backpain and have been prescribed dyhydrocodiene and codiene phosphate at different times. What is the difference? ## Johos, both of those drugs are closely related to one-another and are typically prescribed for the same things. I am not sure why they would switch you between o...

I'm taking Naproxen Sodium/Anaprox DS,and Sulfameth/Trimethoprim/Bactrim DS, for an infection and Percocets for pain. Recently started using Sudafed for my sinuses, would any of these cause a false positive for meth? ## Based on my research, none of the drugs mentioned are "notable" for causing a false positive for meth: Naproxen (Aleve) - false positive for THC, Marijuana Anaprox - false positive for THC, Marijuana Bactrim - may test positive for benzodiazepines Percocet - will test positive (not false) for opiates "The chances of you getting a false positive depends on the quality of the laboratory that does the testing. There seems to be about 1,200 of these labs in the United States currently testing for drugs. Less than a 100 of these meet federal standards and most...
