Vermin - HOW MANY TIMES do I have to tell you to STOP saying that if there are no markings then it is NOT a prescription drug?

Some very common and famous examples:

- Mylan (ex-Merck Generics) alprazolam 1mg is an ovoid sky blue pill with NO MARKINGS. Literally DOZENS of large white tablets with just a score on one side are prescription CARISOPRODOL tablets. Prosoma, Carisoma (some versions are imprinted 'WALLACE' but many are NOT, v-Cariso, Carisoprodol tabs 350mg USP generic.
- Cipla TRANAX 1mg alprazolam, white tablet with single score on reverse.
- CIPLA ZEPOSE 10mg diazepam, white tablet with only cross-score reverse.
- Torrent CLONOTRILm2mg Clonazepam, yellow tablet (dispersible) no marking at all.
- DEXTRIPAM 10mg diazepam blue tablet, single score reverse.
- PURATA by Aspen Healthcare, pink tablet 30mg oxazepam, no marking but single score,
- PALFIUM dextromoramide tartrate, mopioid analgesic, 10mg peach coloured. Tablet with single score.
- Aspen LETHYL 30mg phenobarbital, small white tablet no markings.
- Aspen (ex-WYETH) NORMISON 20/10mg temazepam, green/transparent-yellowish GELCAPS filled with concentrated Temazepam solution, NO markings.
- Many well-known generics (KRKA, Bristol, etc) TRAMADOL HCl 50mg capsules green/yellow, NO markings.
- Galenika KSALOL 1mg alprazolam, light blue small round biconvex tablet, NO markings.
- Galenika FLORMIDAL 15mg MIDAZOLAM tablet white, single score reverse.
- KRKA 5mg APAURIN diazepam, biconvex green tablet, sugar coated, NO markings.
- Ranbaxy TERAPIA 10mg diazepam, white tablet, round, single score reverse.
- Bosnalijek 5mg NIPAM nitrazepam, small white tablet, single score reverse.
- Alkaloid LEXILIUM 6mg Bromazepam green biconvex beveled tablet single score reverse.

These are EXTREMELY well-known and popular, high quality brands and generics which many people worldwide use and are extremely familiar with, many can be immediately recognised for what they are. It is simply UNTRUE to say that NO Rx MEDICATION has no markings at all, but for perhaps a score marking. I only know of one country where it is compulsory to have an identification code embossed on every single prescription tablet. It is complete and utter nonsense to state as fact what you do so often.
You also are often unable to identify very commonly prescribed pills which DO have markings and logos, which I have in many cases identified correctly directly below your posts of this silly nature. Obviously you do not have the books, databases etc required for you to act as some kind of authority on pill identification here at rxchat.com which you would like to see yourself as being.

I am extremely sorry for the tone of my post here, but unfortunately, this is one post too many for me to hold my tongue (fingers?!) and berate you for stating blatant untruths which can be checked at many ID sites and on many databases, not to mention the book which identifies all tablets and capsules, vials and topical preparations on the market, MARTINDALE.

Please cease and desist forthwith from answering in this manner, as you are prone to doing almost as soon as such a question appears on the site. Not only is it annoying (intensely) but although you have a very limited knowledge and obviously an EXTREMEly limited database to which you refer, you show a woeful lack of knowledge of the identification of pharmaceutical items. If I am able to identify tablets from many countries including the USA (which admittedly is so easy it is like the alphabet is to a ten year old) then why do you make statement s which you write as fact when they are nothing of the kind?

That is not to say I am not grateful to you for some of your posts in that department, but your knowledge and your reference guides are so limited they are almost worthless when it comes to identifying anything that does not originate in a single country. I advise you to study. Sometimes I come across something which you say is impossible to identify, yet I am able to do so but unfortunately a year or more may have passed by then and the original poster left with the impression that they have something which might not be a legitimate prescription drug. Not good, I am afraid, my friend. Once more, apologies but it REALLY needed to be said.

If there are no markings, it can be ruled out as being a prescription medication. However, it may be any one of a large number of over the counter products.

I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you.

Does anyone have an idea of what this might be?
