Clonazepam 0.5 mg Teva vs Accord

I recently received Teva clonazepam and it worked great. Two weeks ago, I received clonazepam from Accord Pharmaceuticals and it was like a placebo pill. Has anyone taken this medicine By Accord and have you noticed a serious difference with it not helping? I've never had a generic never work before. I don't know what to do. All pharmacies in my area are now going with Accord Pharmaceuticals because it's cheaper. Help with an answer please. ## Hello Stirfry, Sorry to hear about your situation. Unfortunately not all brands of medication work the same for each person. If the Accord brand does not work for you please let your doctor know and see if there is a way that you can get a different brand ordered for you. I would suggest that you give this medication a few days to see ...

Teva 1mg Clonazepam old formula, not Actavis

It's January 2019 and I have been using TEVA Clonazepam 1mg for over 10yrs. I was taking most days 1.5 mg until recently. I had been tapering. Recently due to major anxiety (death in the family & several other factors) it was increased to 2mg sometimes 2.5mg. Since mid. November 2018. Actavis doesn't work on me. My doctor has given me a prescription of TEVA diazepam 10mg 3 per day. It's not working. Anxiety builds up in 3hrs. Need to stabilize for a bit and then begin tapering. I do not use SSRI's nor alcohol. No other medications. Please, any advice? TEVA worked. ## I'm so sorry this happened to you. Teva messed us all up. It's possible that diazepam may not work for everyone, have you stabilized at all?

Accord Clonazepam

These are horrible, Accord Clonazepam. I'll be glad when I get my new script and can go back to TEVA. ## There have been a lot of recent complaints on our site about medications manufactured by Accord. Sorry you also had a bad experience. Since pharmacies buy in bulk, it is highly likely that they'll still have the ones manufactured by Accord in stock, when you order a refill. So, you might want to make sure to tell them ahead of time that you don't want them and prefer the ones made by Teva. Are there any comments or questions? ## So I got my script filled before I left town and I always check my bottle for my good ole MFG and NDC#. Both were intact but the surprise was on the inside. Little Blue pills with the C and the 1..... Not my normal 1mg TEVA. Being trusting I figur...

Generic Clonazepam by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals and Accord

Hi. There has been a lot of talk about generic clonazepam brands with many claiming something is just not right, people experiencing horrible withdrawal symptoms as soon as they get on these generic brands, people having seizures once again when they hadn't had any in years, people claiming they have to take 2 or 3 mgs of these generic brands for each 1mg of their previous generic brand like Teva or Mylan. I recently had a depression relapse and was taken to the hospital. At that time I had both Sandoz Pharmaceuticals and Accord Healthcare generic clonazepam. And I had been taking both generic brands in the previous 3 weeks switching them around. They were both 2mg tablets. Well, guess what? I took a bag of all the meds I was on and went bottle by bottle telling the nurse which ones...

Round blue Clonazepam 1mg tablet imprinted with E64

My round Clonazepam (Klonopin) 1mg round blue tabs marked E64 came home from the pharmacy yesterday and this month there is no line or "score" on the back side of the pills. Is this normal? Are these real Clonazepam pills? ## Just to confirm, a round blue pill marked with "E" over "64" on one side and scored horizontally on the back is in fact identified as Clonazepam 1mg, made by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals / Eon Labs, Inc. For verification, the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 00185-0064. Inactive Ingredients: -Corn Starch -FD&C Blue No. 1 -Anhydrous Lactose -Magnesium Stearate -Microcrystalline Cellulose If your pill does not fit this exact description and you 'did not get it filled at a licensed pharmacy', then I too would be questioning its...

Clonazepam to wean off Lyrica

Does anyone have experience using Klonopin (clonazepam) to wean off of Lyrica? I know Neurontin (gabapentin) and Lyrica (pregabalin) are used to wean off of benzos. But I'm actually trying to wean off of 150mgs. Lyrica twice a day (300mgs. daily) using clonazepam. If anyone that has found using this method beneficial please let me know. And if anyone has done it successfully as well please share with me their technique. Thanks in advance. ## I'm nearly off of Lyrica now after 5 years of 300mg a day. I had one prescription for 10mg and another for 5mg. I started taking 10mg at bedtime and 5mg when I woke up, then 5mg more if needed before bed. It was living Hell the 1st month, I was sweating profusely. Now I'm down to 5mg in the morning and 5mg at night. Soon I'll just us...

Teva vs Actavis - are they the same?

I’ve been taking half of .5 Teva clonazepam for 10+ years. When I refilled my prescription I got the same dose but Actavis brand. I don’t seem to feel the same I have slight headache , jittery and spacey Not sure if it’s because I’m a hypochondriac and creating this stress or is it because the actavis brand is that much different than Teva ? ## Hello Cp4499, While the two brands do contain the same active ingredient it is possible that you are reacting to the differences in inactive ingredients. Below I have provided some info I sourced from the NIH. Actavis contains these inactive ingredients STARCH, CORN LACTOSE MONOHYDRATE MAGNESIUM STEARATE MICROCRYSTALLINE CELLULOSE D&C RED NO. 30 Teva contains the these inactive ingredients STARCH, CORN LACTOSE MONOHYDR...

clonazepam ingredients solco brand vs activa

I have been taking TEVA clonazepam .5 for years and it was very effective! Now I hear that TEVA does not make it anymore. I was prescribed it via ACCORD mfg with very poor results ... headaches, nervous, and more. I hear that the are also SOLCO and AVTIVIS mfg. I need some input re which one would be better ... or any others. I heard that the inactive ingredients have a lot to do with it. I also know ACCORD is made in China and have heard some horror stories about their clonozepam. ANY INPUT GREATLY APPRECIATED !! ## Hi Johnny, You're spot on about the inactive ingredients having a lot to do with the medication efficacy. In Canada the drug labels actually refer to them as "non-medicinal ingredients" instead of stating "inactive", and I think this is because they do a...

generics clonazepam C1

There are all these conspiracy theories about clonazepam generics, the FDA heavily regulates these and cannot have > +/- 20% of active ingredient. I too favor the tevas, but those are the old school generics and I think we just have an emotional attachment/ placebo effect to with regard to them. These placebo/mental effects can cause REAL withdrawal symptoms (my psychiatrist is one of the top pain/anxiety management docs in Texas). Also certain message boards dont even allow generic brand comparisons because there can be no noticeable difference between generic brands in terms of the effectiveness, but there may be placebo effects on addiction/withdrawal. Does anyone have any non-anecdotal evidence to support certain generics being worse than others? ## If you really want to read up...
