Need A Doctor That Will Perscribe Me Zanax

Can anyone help me!!!!!!!?????? I have been prescribed Xanax for 10yrs now and my new primary care doctor refuses to prescribe me Xanax stating" i don't prescribe Xanax, but i will give you a prescription now and you need to get a psychiatrist for this"...so in the meanwhile i fill the script, still trying, to no avale, as of yet, can find a psychiatrist do to, long waiting 2-3 months or" not taking new patients" "don't take my insurance" ect....!!! So now with the situation im in, is that, my Xanax has run out b/c the prescription was written for 1 month no refills!!!!! " I'm scared" b/c of the obvious,IT' A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE,I BEGIN TO GO THROUGH SERVER" WITHDRAWS" AND DON'T KNOW WHERE TO TURN "AND WHY A DOCTOR WHO TAKES AN OATH," TO DO NO HARM TO OTHERS"!!!!!!!!! WOULD PUT A LIFE IN "POTENTIAL DANGER,WILLINGLY" BASED ON A MATTER OF OPINION!!!!!!!! CAN SOMEONE HELP ME?????? SINCERELY!!!!! M

Hello, Faith! How are you doing? Sorry about the problem that you're having.

However, your PCP no longer has any choice in the matter, due to the new regulations that were put in place this year. They have been severely restricted on what they can prescribe and why they can prescribe it. By giving you a month of it, so you had time to look for a specialist, they've done all they can do.

As to finding a psychiatrist, if you were calling and asking if they'd prescribe it, then that could be why you got such excuses for not setting up an appointment, doctors and their staff are taught to see that as being drug seeking behavior, especially since this is a benzodiazepine that can be habit forming and is very commonly abused. You really need to let your medical records speak for themselves to avoid being perceived as a drug seeker.

If you weren't in danger at the time he saw you, then your doctor did everything properly, even though you may not like it. They are only obligated to treat someone who is in immediate, life-threatening danger. Otherwise, they are not obligated to treat you or to prescribe anything.

If you do go into severe withdrawals, you can go to any nearby emergency treatment facility for assistance and they would be obligated to treat you, at least until they are certain you are out of danger.

I am looking for a Dr that will prescribe me oxycodone 30mg due to a back injury that keeps reacuring because I take care of a terminally I'll cancer patient which requires a lot of lifting of him & his wheelchair on a daily basis. I also would prefer if the Dr prescribed zanax which is something I've been taking for over a year due to the high level of anxiety that is brought on by this job.
