Hello, Vlad! How are you? I am very sorry that you're in pain.

Have you had this checked out? It may be a problem that can be correct with treatment, so you are no longer in any pain. There is also a chance that it may worsen and not be treatable, if you just leave it go. The spine can be very touchy, so you shouldn't just leave it go and try to treat it with pain medications.

You'll have to go to your doctor. He will have to give you a script. Probably start you off on 10mg. I have had nearly everything known to try and help my back after having 3 discs replaced. I have anything from 30 150 mg a day depending on how I'm traveling. You will soon work out how much you require. Good luck back pain sucks hey

vlad, if you don't go to a doctor to get a prescription, Aleve is stronger than Tylenol. It comes in prescription form and is the same exact thing. If you go to a doctor and get a diagnosis, however, he/she will most likely prescribe something for you. If you have been using Tylenol, tell the doctor you don't want a medication that is very strong. I have 4 diagnoses on my bad back, and my doctor started me on a low dose pain medication. As of 6 weeks ago, I was taking 30 mgs. of Oxycodone 3 times a day. I had to wean my way off it, as I didn't want to go into a detox facility, by taking 1/2 pill less per day for seven days, then 1 pill less, etc. until I was off it. Now I use a TENS Unit which a doctor can prescribe and possibly your insurance will cover it. You have to have a serious back problem though to get it that way. You can purchase one on-line. It is a device that has wires that you stick to the pain area, and sort of vibrates. They use them in Physical Therapy on a larger scale. If you have insurance Physical Therapy is another option, but you need a prescription from your doctor to go. My advice is, if the pain was helped by Tylenol for a period of time, try the Aleve. You only take it once a day. It lasts 24 hours and is much stronger than Tylenol, Ibruprofen (sp?), and other over the counter medications. You can buy it anywhere you can buy Tylenol.

Hi Vlad, I have bad back pain due to disc protrusion. My doctor eventually submitted to giving me Oxycontin. However, how easy it is to get depends on what country you are in. Here (in Romania) it's a nightmare to get. Opioids are reserved only for cancer patients (government ruling - stupid I know). Try to get to see a specialist (osteopath, rheumatologist or similar), they have a little more influence than your family doctor.
