Is there an fda approved diet pill that works. PHEN PHEN years ago really worked. I'm particularly interested in one that reduces appetite and increases seratonin levels.

Hello, Jeannene! How are you?

Yes, there are several that are available that have FDA approval, including Belviq, Orlistat, Contrave, Phentermine and Qsymia.

They all have various possible risks and benefits, so only your doctor can help you decide which one is safe for you to try.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, insomnia, anorexia and hypertension.

Is there anything else I can help with?
