Fake Percocet 10 325 M523 (Top voted first)

I just had my script filled and it looks waxy. Is it the right medication?

Did your pill I0/325 M523 look real other than the "1" being an "I"? Like was the pill hard to crush, no other imperfections other than not feeling anything other than a little sleepy!? I live in WV and Detroit has our town on lock and I have gotten fake 10/325 with percocet on the other side, yellow and white ones but I just got the I0/325 M523's and they look legit, no imperfections but the " 1" being a "I" and I feel no relief at all :( this s*** is ridiculous.

A friend of mine gave me a pill for a migrane with m523 on one side and 10/325 on the other side and the pill was chalky but there was a "1" on the pill instead of a straight line and it was very easy to break

If you are lucky enough to have a pain management physician who treats severe chronic pain for what it is, a CHRONIC condition that can in these type of cases with narcotics. At age 76 with terrible arthritis and spinal issues, I am not worried about addiction, but not living a life of pain. I had one doctor tell me she was more afraid of the DEA than in taking care of me!!! HYPOCRITIC OATH!!! If you need it, find a doctor and make life manageable. Not even the Oxycodone takes all the pain away all the time, but I am happy to settle for 65%.

Can Percocet 10/325 (M523) be flat on both sides instead of being rounded? I need to know because I have a prescription and let my aunt borrow a few. She also has a prescription but when she gave them back I didn't think they looked right. I've never got any that look like that.

Just got some percocet 10s that were fake, here in Mich.
M523 , I0 /325 notice the 1 isn't a one but a "I". The real ones have an actual "1". I took what should have been 90mg oxycodone and just felt tired. Thank god no cent was in it.....

I'm tryn to get into doctor. Here in ky it is hard to get them to write u a script for pain meds unless ur dying. Got an appt for next month but of course my ins deductible is $1000 so don't know how I can afford to go. It always something. It's bad when its cheaper to buy off the street. But that mishap taught me to always look at what I'm getn n not just trust what my "closest" friends tell me. It's awful to b n pain all the time. I hate buying pills but when I hurt I can either be miserable n have no life or buy a pill and be able to function.

I am in the same boat. Chronic pain. And that's what percocets were made for. By the way, multitudes of people are not dying from percocet.

There are a TON of these fakes on the streets, they will be marked M523 on one side and 10/325 on the back. The real ones will have a "1" with a tail at the top. The fake ones are just a straight line "l". If the 1 doesn't have a tail you may be getting fentanyl or heroin or any number of other undesirable drugs.

BE WARNED. There are all over Atlanta right now. Fill prescriptions only from a legit pharmacist.

I'm from Pikeville originally and a former addict, so I know exactly what your talking about. Still, the word multitudes is not an accurate depiction. Most of those oding are mixing them with xanax or suboxone. Doctors wanna write scripts for suboxone to people long term, when it's supposed to only be used for a week or two to get you through withdrawals. Prescription painkillers are how most get started on opiate addiction, then when the doctors get scared of the dea and take it away, the only option is buying them through other means. My philosophy, if a patient is truly in pain, give them something to improve their quality of life. That's what doctors are really supposed to do.

I've never seen Percocet tablets with a waxy look to them, but it sounds to me like these counterfeiters are doing anything they can to get one up on their potential victims. The best thing you can do as a preventative measure in my opinion is to continue searching for a doctor who will write you a legitimate prescription (provided that you aren't taking them recreationally).

And if you aren't taking them in the way they're meant to be used, maybe continuously getting fake pills is a sign that it's time to move on to something else? In either case I'm sure many people will appreciate the warning you put out there and hopefully it will save them some grief by avoiding that route for obtaining their medications.

I'm in Columbus Ohio and I heard there were some fake yellow Percocet 10s going around here that had heroin and Fentanyl in them. So yea be very careful. You never know what you're going to get. With people being able to go onto ebay and buy the presses for the popular pills (don't believe me go search it yourself). They can mix anything they want and put it in them. So stay away from at least the yellow 10s unless it's your own prescription.

Not if it looks waxy, I would definitely be very careful. Maybe break off a tiny piece and see if it taste right before taking a whole pill first.
