what does APO mean on a pill?

On my sleeping pills it says "Apo-Zopiclone"... Then in brackets on the prescription label it says GLA. My question is, what does APO mean...and what does GLA mean? Thank you. ## What's APO 37.5/25 on my sleep medications stand for ## In Canada, and some other countries, medications are often listed according to manufacturer, and name of the actual chemical, so in this case, the APO stands for the manufacturer Apotex. The GLA stands for the distributor, since Apotex licenses their products to several companies for dissemination across the country. The 37.5/25 is the designated dosage of the substances in the relevant medication. Zopiclone may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, sleep actions, and next day hangover-like effects. Is there anything else I can help wi...

identifying foreign zopiclone - called zopicon

it came in very small strip, tablet is round, white and has Z9 printed on it - I am not sure about this has anyone else seen them like this? ## Ive had them before, they're from india and they seem to have the same effects as Zopiclone. The only thing Ive noticed is that you seem to very quickly develope a tolerance to these Zopicon, the same may be true of imovane or other brands of this drug,i dont know? ## It is very hard to know what you are getting when you order foreign drugs, they are not regulated like those approved for use in the U.S. ## Zopicone is definitely not the same as Imovane, I am actually a bit concerned after using it for a week. It takes me much longer to start the day, get my head clear and I feel very sluggish. It is supposed to be a version of the generic drug...

small blue pill no markings white inside very bitter

Small round light blue pill. No markings, smooth on both sides, white on the inside, and very bitter. ## It sounds like a generic version of zopiclone. If it makes you sleepy then I'd say for sure it is. I've had similar pills for my zopiclone prescription ## What is a blue pill with no number or letters, just scored on one side? ## yes sounds like the Zop "zopiclone" from HAB , but it round with a score down the center of one side, , quite big pills almost like a X2 "Iktorivil" swedish Klonazepam ## Hello Ashley, A pill that doesn't have any markings on it is more than likely not a prescription medication. It could be some sort of over the counter product or a vitamin/supplement but without having any imprints it would be near impossible for anyone on the in...

Hi, My doctor has prescribed 10 mg lexamil for me and I havnt started taking it yet. I've been suffering with anxiety for a while and taking .5 mg alzam and 7.5 mg zopiclone to manage the condition. Zopiclone shape and colour

I obtained some zopiclone and they are usually oval shaped and white in colour, 7.5mg but these are round and off white coloured with a large Z on one side of the pill and a score mark on the other, has anyone had anything similar? I tried the pill identifier online and it came up with something for headaches called Zomig. Thanks in advance MrsP ## Since this is not approved and prescribed in the U.S., it would not be listed in the U.S. pill identifier databases, because non-approved products that aren't sold here do not fall under the law that requires them to be listed. And on that note, I haven't been able to find any information on a tablet with just a Z marking and it may be difficult for us to track it down, being that it is from a foreign source. Have you tried contacting...

rebound Insomia

I have been taking zopiclone for insomia for two years and now it is not doing anything for me. I have started to stay awake all night and fall asleep around 7 am and sleep all day. I have just heard that it is possible to have a rebound effect if you take if for a long period of time. So now I have to get off it and I do not know what to take to change my sleeping pattern. Any suggestions. ## A rebound effect occurs from stopping a medication abruptly, what you are most likely dealing with is tolerance. This can happen if just due to the fact that you're taking the same medication, in the same dosage for a long period of time and your body has gotten used to it. You should consult your doctor, as you may need to switch to a different dosage, or a different medication. Is there anyt...
