Hi Beatrice,

The closest match I can find is a mild narcotic by the name of Neo-Percodan. Based on my research, it contains (65 mg) Propoxyphene and (500 mg) Acetaminophen. It is a white round pill with a score and the imprint NP on the back. It is not marketed in the U.S. and is commonly sold in Mexico.

Learn More: Acetaminophen + Propoxyphene Details

Has anyone else located a pill like the one Beatrice described?

Yes this is a 20mg Oxycodone-HCL. I believe it is a new manufacturer and I think they are trying to make these harder for people to abuse.

Yes I just got the script for them and they are terrible. I've been on oxycodone/Roxy for 15 years and can totally tell from the first pill I took that something was wrong with these pills. They make me feel worse. There is no way that these pill are what they claim to be. First of all they make it almost impossible for people that do have legitimate reasons for taking this medicine, impossible to get filled in the first place. Then they give us this bogus medicine, that these companies are making millions and trillions of dollars off of us and it's not even real medicine. This can't be legal! Can it?

I know what you mean!! A Chronic Pain Human Being was not in any way shape or form consulted in the manufacture & before ship out sales as to the effectiveness of pain alleviation. Still suffering without any relief on the ALV 10/325 Oxycodone Brand for 9 days now. 22 days to go before I can feel like Forrest Gump & his box of chocolates again......you never know what you're gonna get......Why are they being allowed to add HCL to anything? In the 7th Science class we all learned that Hydrocloride is harmful & poisonous to humans & animals. Small amounts of poison is never okay!! I thought Gelcaps were invented by now? Put the medicine in the gelcaps & leave cancer causing dyes out of all medicines. So why is the poison HCL added?

Everyone i am here to help you and save you alot of trouble...Now when you pick up your oxy 20mg from your Pharm....Right when they hand them to you..Open your bottle and make sure you do not get the NP 14 brand..and if you do ask them to change them to another brand or order you another brand..Now you have to do this right there and then when they hand your meds to you after you pay for them..if you turn around or walk out and open your bottle to check..you will be out of luck...

Now I have done alot of reading and looking on the net..The company that makes the NP 14 pills have and still are having alot of trouble selling there meds to the US market because they are NOT what they are NOT what they say they are.... in some cases the NP 14 had only as much as 8mg active meds in each pill..So it says 20mg and your only getting 8mg....it is fake meds to not take them..you are paying for your meds do not get ripped off...please check your meds when they hand them to you..or tell the pharm that you DO NOT want the NP 14 when you hand them your script...I know this will save you alot of trouble...GOD BLESS YOU ALL
