Using Dexona And Practin From 5 Years Side Effects (Top voted first)

I've been on Dexona and Practin 4mg for 5 years with continuous side effects. I used to be lean. One of my friends suggested it, who has used it for 2 months and stopped and he has some skin problems.

If i stop taking it for one day i start facing some problems.

What would be the side effects for me if i stop using this at this point? Also, what are the tests i need to take?

Currently I experience laziness, a headache sometimes, hypertension, and i feel very tense when it comes to small issues.

I taken practin & decdan for two months before 1 years.but i feel after someday nausea,vomit,constipation and unwanted headache.i was gone to doctor.but iloss my weight & appetite day by day.PLease help me sir.

PRactin contains the active ingredient Cyproheptadine, it is an antihistamine and, while it does cause weight gain in some people due to appetite changes, using it in such a manner, without your doctors approval is not safe.

Any weight gain achieved is also only retained as long as you keep taking the medication.

I take dexona for 8 months then leave without of knowledge. Now I feel like I don't wanna live. I cannot ask doctor before take this medicine. My weight was 60kg and after leave that medicine my weight is 45kg. I have problem in my back, my heartbeat runs fast, headache, pain in left side of lungs , stomach problem etc. I still not consult from any doctor because of fearness.

Hi, i am 24 year old women, I was taking practin and dexsona since past 6 months , i stopped it now because my heart beat is exceeded (its too high), also i have start getting pain in my heart and i am getting faint. also im unable to travel by bus for 1 km also, i don't get the oxygen, i don't get breath when i travel. Can you please suggest me what diagnostics i need to go in for... how do i recover now?

all brothers listen if u taking these tablets or stopped these tablets and any side effects u feel than dont worry u will take some time to recover almost a one year . take panelty of water means around five liter water in a day or some lemon juice . take a to z vitamin daily it well help to recover fast . there is no medicine to recovering side effects of dexona.

hi this is deep.i used to take dexona along with ciplactin,decdak amd practin to gain weight.my doses like 1 ciplactin,one decdak,practinwith dexona 4 capsules at a time after having my breakfast,after having my lunch and 1 ciplactin after having my dinner.after sometimes i am getting some problem that is everyday after 6 pm. i used to feel very very sleepy and as well as some gastric problem.but from the morning till 5to6pm.i am not feeling anything.i know its a side effects of those medicines.but i want to continue and i will have to know how could i continue without any side effets.because if i will stop it i will loose my bigger physic as well as gained weight.so how could i do it without the side effects.

I have been using decdan and practin tablets since 3 years now.I started using these to gain weight.I have gain more than 20kgs in 3 years.i want to stop using these now.I habe tappered the consumption since 6 months.i used to have 2 tablets daily but now i hv only one.Body has settled to one tablet but i get ill if i stop it fr 2 days.I will tapper this to 1 tablet every alternate day and slowly stop using this.Is this the correct way????

Please stop those medicine it will harm your health and lowing your immunity.
halfer the dose you are taking ang then half then half and then stop it because you are taking it from a long time and your body is used to of it.

for cleaning your body take lots of fruits, vegetables, salads, juices and multivitamin + mineral recomended by your doctor.

stop if you smoke and drink, do yoga / morning walk.

if you feel some difficulties then please consult your doctor.

if possible stop it because it has a very bad side effect like continuous vomiting,major skin problems,weakness etc.but if u want u can stop it from same day.u may fill uneasy for 30-45 days.meet doctor.
