Levosulpiride is also a prokinetic, which means it helps with gastro-intestinal motility, to keep stuff from just sitting in the stomach and intestines, it helps it move along.

I have just been prescribed the same thing (20 rabeprazole + 25 mg levosulpiride). Only issue that seems to be there is that this is an antidepressant too, but only when dosage is high. I would ideally not want to take it, but since symptoms of upper abdominal squeezing sensation has not subsided even after two weeks of Esemoprazole, I guess I will start taking this.

I have a moving stone (of 12mm size) in my gallbladder and am suffering from a blockage of stool, and do not have a desire to eat. At the same time, cervical spondylitis has been a problem and I have backaches and sciatica. My Dr. has prescribed rabeprazole 20 along with levopraid. Please explain their functions.
