I want to know if there is a drug that would be a combination of these two drugs. I can't take them both but I need to take them. I am alternating between them to treat my symptoms. I have Thyroiditis which it swells without the Motrin. and Fibromyalgia which is effecting my spine, spasams without the Naproxen. Please I need help ## They are both nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications, which is why you aren't supposed to take both, doing so is essentially doubling up on the same medication, since they both treat the same conditions, and are in the same medication class. Naproxen and Motrin can also cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Have you consulted your doctor? They may be able to prescribe medications that c...

Blue capsule shaped pill L341 imprint on one side ## From the marking I can tell that this is an over the counter product, however, I cannot find a specific ID for it. Does anyone else know what this is? ## What is a blue pill with the imprint 341?

I have consulted with someone in my family who is a doctor, I sprained my wrist and got a brace. And they told me the best thing to take is an anti-inflammatory called Naproxen. How long does Naproxen stay in someone's system. ## I found a bit of mixed information regarding this. Some sources state that the elimination half-life of naproxen is approximately 15 hours, thus it is expected to be out from your system in 30 hours; while other sources tell me that it generally stays in your system for up to 72 hours. This information however is also dependent on the user's lifestyle, like weight, age, diet, exercise habits, whether or not your are taking other medications as well, etc. Based on the above information it would be safe to assume that Naproxen would be out of the system i...

My prescription is dated january 2016 is it still good? ## Can i take naproxen dated 2016 is it still good to use for pain ## Hello Gigi, The short answer is no. The long answer is that the expiration date could mean multiple things ranging from the expectancy of the medication to maintain it's maximum level of potency. In some cases the medication would still be good but just not as effective as it was prior to the expiration date. On the other hand, some medication contains active ingredients and inactive ingredients that may deteriorate and make the medication react differently with you. Regardless of the safety of the medication, it will not be able to perform it's intended function at a desirable level and should be disposed of at your local drug drop off. If you feel like ...
