Hydrocodone Urine Test (Page 3) (Top voted first)

I just tasted a little lortab, not even 2 mg and I had to drug test about 12 hours later. I had a urine test that was sent to the lab. Will this show up? I have not been taking anything at all for a long time.

I would say based on experience NO WAY. Probably show up at all.

Thanks Kevin. I hope you are right and not show at all. Even though I have a script I do not want to deal with stigma or paper work.

You're welcome. My GF was taking more than she was prescribed and ran out 2 days before her doctor piss tested her and she had none in her system. She had been taking about 50 mg a day for a couple weeks. She couldnt believe she had none in her system cause she was trying to have it built up. So doctor dropped her cause she pissed clean. So I am almost 100% positive you will be fine.

Not sure how that is possible. Everything I have read says ther is about a 4 hr half life so there should have been some levels.

Thats what I thought. Thought she was in the clear to have it in her system but the doc said it wasnt.

I take hydrocodone daily (at least 4x or more). I will be having a drug screen sometime soon to get a new job. I have also used tramadol in place of hydrocodone. How long do I have to be off of all of it before I will test negative? Or, since I have an rx. for the hydro, will they check how much I have in my system? also, will the tramadol show up separately? I also am prescribed nuvigil. Is this tested for???? I haven't changed jobs in 21 years and I am totally terrified.

i go next week to see if i have liver cancer..my family doc says i do due to some test results that came back that she did..i googled liver cancer and didnt like what i read,,i also have hep-c from a tat i got 28 years ago..this is the cause of my liver cancer,,they say , from what i read , i have around a year to live..is this true??

I am prescribed hydrocodone 5/500 & its prescribed by my doctor. I have to take a urine rest in an hour & took 2 pills about 2 hours ago to make sure they DO show up in my urine. I'm afraid they won't & the doctor will let me go. I'm 5'10 & weigh 140. Will I be OK? Please help.

Do they take blood to do deeper testing or with urine also? Is the panel 5 One done with urine?

I had gastric sleeve done and have been throwing up at least every other day and i am on Loratab 10 will this throw my levels off for my drug test.

Hi, recently they've gotten rid of the 7.5 500 mg Loritab. The 7.325 doesn't seem to work the same for me. What is the difference and is there something I can take with it to make up for it?

I was prescribed hydrocodone 5mg and I took them but I was prescribed only 10 so that would be 50mgs all together. I only took 6 of them so that would be 30mgs and after that I took 2 hydrocodone 10mg which would add up to 50mg I have a possible drug test tomorrow, will they be able to tell that I took two different kinds of hydrocodone? Or just that I took hydrocodone and the level of it? Does it show up in MG's? Or some thing else of how much you have taken? All of this was taken within the last 48 hours. Please help!?

I don't know if you're still posting to this site, but if you are I would be most grateful to have your input.

Here's the deal: I have to have hydrocodone in my system when I'm tested at my doctor's office- I'm prescribed Norco 10/325. Having been on the same dosage for approximately 12 years I have developed a tolerance and tend to run out a week or so before my next appointment due to "doubling up".

I just need to know how many mg of hydrocodone I need to save- i.e. the smallest amount in milligrams- to take to test positive for hydrocodone in a saliva OR urine (never know which- usually saliva) test?

FYI- yes, I HAVE discussed this with my doc. The first one offered to switch me to Methadone, which I declined and promptly found another doc. My current doc's Nurse Practitioner offered to prescribe me Ultram which, aside from the fact that it takes me to emesis hell, seems ignorant to me as the Norco I'm prescribed and to which I have developed a tolerance is much stronger than Ultram.

I've done research on non-narcotic meds for chronic pain and tried Lyrica which helped, but I'm an uninsured single mom with no family (I was orphaned at a young age) and Lyrica is so EXPENSIVE. I didn't know about Prescription Assistance programs when I had a 'scrip for Lyrica so I took it sporadically (as I could afford it), which made me swell up like a balloon- LITERALLY. I couldn't get my shoes on. So now it's in my records as my having had a bad reaction to it and it's unlikely I will be prescribed it again.

But I digress. Apologies- instructions said be "detailed" (italics & underlined!).

I really just want to know HOW MANY MG OF HYDROCODONE DO I NEED TO TAKE TO HAVE IT SHOW UP IN A SALIVA OR URINE TEST? Oh, and how long before my doctor's appointment should I take it for optimal results?

I would take 30 mg the day before the appt. that way, it will def be in your system and enough of it.

I have etg tests all the time and I drink beer and even liquor and they come back negative. The trick is for one not to get s*** faced, but most importantly give yourself an 80 hour window minimum between your last drink and the test. During this time drink lots of fluids and be as active as possible.
