I've been taking one or two pills of oxycodone 30 mg a day for roughly the last 4 months, I am 5'10 and 175 lbs so I'm in relatively in good shape. How long will it take to be out of my system if I'm taking a urine test?

I took 35mg of oxycodone on friday night and 50mg of the same thing on saterday morning I have a urine screen test on thursday at 3:30pm do you think I will have a the urine sample will come up as possitive or negitive? Thank you in advance, for who ever takes the time too answer this.

Has anyone who is legimately gets oxys 30 and oxycontin er tried they're mailorder pharmacys if u have insurance. I get a 90 day supply, see my dr. Every month to be checked and pay 3 months of office visits. I am trustworthy.no problems. My mailorder send all my scripts for 90 days for 2 copays. Only way I can receive my medication. I am 58 with a pinched nerve in my back,had shoulder surgery last week, bad arthritis, and neuropathy in left foot and calf. My employer provides insurance with a mailorder. Pharmacys are conrolled by politics now. I am sad. I can't walk without medicine. Some people don't know they have a mailorder. My dr. Is good about this. I suppose some would refuse and my mailorder requires 90 day script. It works for me. I get 180 oxycontin for 90 dys and take my other every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Figure it out. So legitamate people I feel for you. I am a christian woman. Wanted you all to know.

Like most other narcotics, Oxycodone can be detectable in urine for approximately 4 to 5 days, after you last take it.

There is, however, no precise time frame we can give, because individuating factors always play a role, such as you metabolism, overall health, activity levels and etc.

I noticed a severe lack of results when I googled this question myself so decided to come back after my test and post results. I have a prescript for Hydros and was at a friends house and had left my meds at home. I took 30mg of her oxycodone script on a Sunday night at 7pm. I'm mildly overweight.. 5'6 and weight 160 lbs. I have been taking hydros for years and seem to burn through meds pretty fast as if i don't take a healthy dose of my hydros late the night before a doc appt, i usually test clean the next day which isn't a problem for my doc cuz i take my meds when needed. I had a Thursday doc appt so wasn't worried. My doc office called me on Monday and asked if I could come in on Tuesday at 10:45 AM for my med check cuz my doc was going out of town, otherwise i'd have to have waited another week for my meds and i was close to out so i went ahead and agreed. Anyway.. again i took 30mg oxy sunday night at 7pm and i tested clean on tuesday morning at about 10:45am. All i did was drink a ton of water and also a jug of cranberry juice.Not sure if what i drank helped but i know my urine was barely yellow. Like tbh, almost clear. I told them i had been worried about a bladder infecting coming on so was drowning myself in cranberry juice and water. *shrug* Whatever the case, it worked. Anyway, there is an actual chart you're supposed to use.. the half life is 3 to 4.5 hours.. Because i burn fast, i used 3.5 hours. You basically take the mgs that you took and keep dividing it by two until you reach under .01. I think my count was that it took 11 times. That means that i shoudl have naturally burned it between 33 - 44 hours depending on which timeframe i used.. my doc appt was at like 36 hours so i was cutting it close but i think with the diluded pee, it helped a lot.

Is anyone here going to actually answer the question of how long approximately OC stays in your system? Please answer honesty if you know. Im 5'10 195 lbs and have been taking approx 45mg/day for about a month. I understand i need to stop and i will but i dont need judgements, etc. Please help if u can. Thanks

Oxycodone has a half life of 3-4.5 hours. Determine total hours from last dose to drug test day. Subtract 4.5 from Total hours. For every subtraction divide drug dose by 2.

Example for a 10 Mg Oxycodone; If your last dose was 8 am Monday and you have a urinalysis at 8 am Wednesday, resulting in a total of 48 hours.

48 - 4.5 = 43.5 hours remaining then divide 10 Mg / 2 = 5 Mg
43.5 -4.5 = 39 hours then 5 Mg /2 = 2.5 Mg
39 - 4.5 = 34.5 then 2.5 /2 = 1.25 Mg
34.5 - 4.5 = 30 then 1.25/2= .625 Mg Pretty much negative, DOD testing threshold
30- 4.5= 25.5 then .625/2= .3125 -
25.5 -4.5 = 21 then .3125/2 = .1565 Mg - no more worries beyond this point
21- 4.5 = 16.5 then .1565 /2= .07825

Total Clearance Time: 4.5 x 7 = 31.5 hours to clear 10 MG of Oxycodone from a typical person with normal urinary functions. It helps to drink lots water. For DOD Personnel, you can dilute your sample without repercussions by consuming at least a liter of water an hour prior to the test. Make sure you get your initial urinal evacuation out of the way and submit a test after subsequent evacuations. This is because DOD labs is based on threshold not presence of a drug.

Just doing this because I also took a risk taking someones meds instead of going to sick call. Option was self report or either risk it. Fortunately I had nothing to worry about.

No, insufflation actually causes less absorption into your bloodstream. I know this because an emergency room doctor told me. I went in for severe withdrawal symptoms and when he asked what, how, and how long I was taking this drug. I told him I had been insufflating 30mg oxys for a long time. The doc told me I was lucky I was just insufflating them. That you actually absorb considerably less through insufflation as say swallowing or chewing. DO NOT TAKE THIS AS A REASON TO USE MORE THAN YOU'RE USE TO!! I am now in recovery and am very happy.
