I took only one 7.5 lortab and was drug tested. Will it show up in my urine? If so, for how long?

FYI: hydrocodone, lortab & vicodin are the same exact thing. Also oxycodone & percocet are the exact same thing. However, hydrocodone & oxycodone are not the same thing and do not show up the same on a urine screen. Personal experience tells me this

I took 3 hydrocodone 5mg at around 2:15pm. I do not have a prescription. how long will it take to get this out of my system bc i have a drug test tomorrow. im scared. I shouldnt have took them but my teeth are hurting so bad. Ive taken lmost a whole bottle of iburphone the last 24 hr. I had a feiend give them to me to help kill the pain.

You'll be fine. The worst thing that could happen is your test come out inclusive. You show them your bottle that was prescribed to you. And that's it! Calm down, it's ok!

My friend! First! Sit down! Breathe...... It's not the end of the world! Lol I started getting these test myself the past couple months. It's honestly a scare tactic. If you have taken hydro that long, it doesn't matter whether your on hydro or oxy. Both are opiates! It's all about strength level. And wtf are they putting you on oxy?!! It's almost thripple times stronger! And the tylenol is content is the same. If it's the 15/500mg. God if it wa legal to kick some of these doctors asses I would do it! I hate how they treat people like us ha have no choice but have to go through this alternative in order achieve relief or be actually human! Lol
With just one full oxy 15 should be more than taking 4 10/500mg of hydro at one time! If they are makin sure your taking your meds. Then take them. If you show negative, then tell them to kiss your ass! If your doing your best and like you said "not abusing" then you should be fine. Unless the doctor is being discriminatory I would look for another doctor IMHO! It's good to be ok my friend!

This is a complete lie oxygen and hydro are to completely fifteenth make ups you even said it yourself that taking one 15 mg oxygen would be like four 10mg hydro it will not show up as the same thing they will show up completely different. I've read a ton of your posts now and for you to tell ppl not to worry is giving them false hope it takes 5-7 days for the AVERAGE person to rid themselves of opities!!!

Well i wound up in the hospital the pain was too much to bear. And i did not take the pills illegally as i have a script for them. As i have cronic back pain and a history of kidney stone. This was an iteresting visit the hospital though they told me the cartilege between my ribs were swollen and pushing my ribs apart. Thus the pain. But i seemed to have found the answer to my own question before going to the hospital. The half life is 3.8 hours on average. With a slow metabolism will take longer. I have an extremely high metabolism so i calculated everthing out giving room for errors and was fine. Take the miligrams taken and for every 3.8 hours divide in half until you hit zero! To "Nurse Knows" and "Know the Facts," You two evidently do not know what you are talking about. Percocet, vicodin and Lortabs(any form of hydrocodone) are all opioids. What does this mean? Unless blood is drawn or the urine is sent to a lab (not just tested in the office or where ever, then poured out when the strips turn out negative) to get the chemical breakdown of the drug, the tests do NOT discriminatively distinguish between the two different drugs. Hydrocodone and Oxycodone on a urine drug screen show up as an OPIATE/OPIOID! My reference is rxlist.com. This site gives the chemical make up of every drug imaginable. Actually, oxycodone (percocet) and hydrocodone (lortab, vicodin, norco) are separate tests on a drug screen! I know this as a matter of fact since I take a random 11 panel screen once a week! Oxycodone is one panel and opiate is another. They will know the difference between percs (oxys) vs. other opiates, I promise you. They cannot tell what opiate it is initially (ie; vicodin vs. heroin), but they will send it to the lab to determine what type of opiate it is. :)

today is friday january 31,2014 i took 2 10 mg. norcos i have a urine test for probation and i do not have a precription i took them thursday the 30th my drug test is wendsday feburary 5th 2014 before that it has been about 2 weeks since i have taken any thing will i be able to pass the test by then i am 5ft6in tall and roughly 197lbs.

Im on felony probation i took 10 five mlg vic on sat had none sun and mon and passed test on tues at 8 am i drank two liters of water on mon night and two liters bout hour and 15mins before test tues morn pissed 2 times right before test and passed swear to this gl everyone.

Some people are really in pain like YOU and get meds for pain like YOU and can very easily get addicted. So before you throw your opinion out there think about it. No one is perfect especially an addict!!!

People like us CANT get any because our Doctors wont give them to us! I've had a spinal fusion and I need a new knee. The pain is hard for me to take but my doctor wont even give me a Tylenol 3 let alone a small amount of hydrocodone because he and the majority of other doctors don't want to be libel for it getting on the streets. But guess what; its on the streets anyways. Its not fair that because people abuse the system then ALL have to suffer. I just want a little quality of life. A little relief from he pain.

You should NEVER TAKE MORE THAN WHAT YOU'RE PRESCRIBED...I Suffer from Severe Back Pain, due to an Injury I sustained & have 3 Herniated & 2 Bulging Disk in My Lower back, as well as Degenerative Disk Disease. I have Severe pain Daily, but is less "THANKFULLY" due to My Pain Meds from My Pain Management Doctor. Some days are A LOT WORST HAN others. Depending on the Weather, aka.. Rain, Cold, & Simply Over doing it. Sometimes I just have to get things done, I do those things, such as housework, grocery shopping, and even Playing with My PRECIOUS GRANDDAUGHTER, but I ONLY TAKE MY MEDS AS PRESCRIBED. THEY HELP MY PAIN, BECAUSE I DON'T ABUSE THEM. . But, 8yrs ago I DID ABUSE PAIN PILLS for the same Pain I have Now..The Result was NEVER GOOD, and I was ALWAYS IN PAIN...NEVER ANY RELIEF. But since I Started taking As DIRECTED...To GOD BE THE GLORY...I DO HAVE LOTS OF DAYS WHERE I CAN MORE AROUND & GET "THOSE OTHER THINGS" DONE... EATING HEALTHIER & Walking & Whatever I can do, MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE. GOOD LUCK & MAY GOD BLESS..
