Glycomet contains the active ingredient Metformin and it may cause some side regular side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and flatulence.

The 160 is still a little high, how long have you been taking it?
Have you consulted your doctor?
Are you watching the fats and sugars in diet?

sanath kumar Says:3 per day after March 2011. earlier 2 per day. very careful on diet. No direct sugar, no fruits, small amount of rice, staple wheat, etc,. Walk around 35 to 45 minutes a day. Glycomet SR 500 prescribed by Endocronologist, Dr.Muthukumar, from Chennai Meenakshi Hospital, chennai 4. (old Devaki Hospital). But I take sugar free for tea. coffee without sugar only.

Reclide MR 30 mg
Glycomet SR 500 Mg
after break fast : Optosulin.
In the evening
before food: Glycomet SR 500 mg
after food: Optosulin, Drise 2000 & Supra dyn.
I am following this medicine every day.
Now my fasting sugar is arround 95 to 105
PP- 145 to 155.
Pls let me know whether I should continue to take the medicine? ofcourse I will consult a doctor. messaging to you for second opinion
