When I take Fruta Planta in the AM with luke warm water BEFORE eating, I will not be hungry for the entire day, however, I force myself to eat healthy meals. It makes me thirsty, so it forces me to drink water as well. This is all good. (I notice that if I take the pill after eating, I am just as hungry as if I hadn't taken it at all)

I never feel as if I am buzzing - instead, I feel more focused and I am definitely much more productive. I originally was worried about taking this supplement when I read the FDA reports, but when I looked closer at the statistics, I felt a lot better. I also felt as if the Abbott drug was recalled because it was working too well.

My logic: If there are 15,000 overweight people, how many would you expect to die of cardiac related issues in a year if they weren't taking any diet supplements? 10, 15, maybe 20? The info I found indicated that 1 person died and less than 10 had rapid heart rate. Seems to be that the drug should be promoted instead of recalled based on those stats. I lost 15 pounds over six months but stopped taking the supplement for a few years and I went back to my old bad habits so I slowly put the weight back on. Just started taking again and the weight is coming off but I am committed to making some lifestyle changes this time around as well. Good luck to everyone.

I just ordered the Fruta Planta Pink box. I've been reading a ton of reviews and there are more positive than negative reviews AND it still seems to be effective in 2014. About 5 years ago, I took Magic Slim and I was very successful. I lost 50 lbs. in 3 month's time. I've kept the bulk of my weight off until about 6 or 7 months ago when I gained 20 lbs. My starting weight is 191 lbs. and my goal weight is 140 lbs. I've been trying everything to lose weight and I've been brought to my knees. Diet and exercising are just not helping, so I pray that these pills can give me the results I am seeking so I can continue to eat healthy and exercise.

AN FYI-mynicnax Has RECALLED Fruta plant because it's active ingredient, phenolphthalelein, gives irregular heartbeat.

With longer use, it is carcenoginic.

Regular side effects are like phen-fen. Gastrointestinal problems, it's a heavy laxative, so dehydration, and racing thoughts.

I believe the original version of Fruta Planta is no longer available; however the Pink box 2010 version is carried by MyNicNaxs. I am taking the Pink box 2010 version and I have not experienced any adverse side effects.

Niknik-idk about the ingredients in the pink box. I wanted to check it all out based on your successes! I was kind of excited about it myself...

I stumbled across this article and the distributors name caught my eye.

Believe me, I'm not trying to ruin anyone's day here :(...

This article lists the brand names and ingredients they're recalling.

I have... I've lost 21 lbs in just over six weeks... I think I could have lost more, but I haven't been as consistent as I should have been. I've skipped some pills here and there.

I think on mynicnax they used to sell the green box of Fruta Planta. When I was going to buy it it was no longer on there and I could only find the pink box.

It may have been the green box that was recalled.

Hi Sara, I am just seeing this post... Thanks for providing the link. Thankfully, the ingredients in the pink box differ. I purchased the original green box a few months ago, but honestly only took them for about 4 days. They made me feel a kittle weird. It was that surreal feeling that a lot of people get with diet pills and I don't like that feeling so I stopped taking them. My sister took the pills and didn't have any of the side effects. The green box is no longer available on mynicnax so my guess is that it contained the harmful ingredient. Thanks again for sharing!

Hello everyone, I bought fruta planta the green version from mynicnaxs and, I checked to ensure it was certified and everything unfortunately after taking it for a week and a half I realized nothing was happening to my body. I wasn't even getting the regular side effects like dry mouth and I was still hungry and craved alot still.

I didn't see any results with the pink box. I gained weight and was hungry, so I switched to another product and it's working better. Some products work differently on certain people, could be fake, could not be, just send the box back to mynicnax and they'll send you something different.

You have to drink a lot of water so that would be the only thing that would send you to the bathroom. Please use it along with a healthy diet and you will see results. If you take the fruta and eat the same you will stay the same. Fruta planta is an appetite suppressant so with that you will eat less and take in less calories.
