Fasle Positive For Buprenorphine

Please help, I just got back from my PO and he said I tested positive for Buprenorphine, I have no idea what it is or how it would come out on a test and I am very concerned he is threatening to violate me. He is sending the sample for additional mass/spec testing, I take Cymblata and Elavil for Antidepressants. I also take Avaprex for weight loss and melatonin. Please help, my life is on the line.

Buprenorphine is a narcotic that's used in the medications Subutex and Suboxone, which are most commonly used to treat drug addiction.

neither the Cymbalta, nor the Elavil have been known to cause false positives for it. I can't check the Avaprex and Melatonin, because those are both just supplements.

I am currently prescribed benezepril hydrochloide, amlodipine, norco and alprazolam and have been drug tested. My test came back positive for a presence of buprenorphine. dont take it and now on the verge of loosing my pain management. Will these cause a false positive? I also take a sleep aid called diphenhydramine, aleive, and other cold meds. suboxone would block my pain meds,right?

I've been drug free for 20 years. I have hair down to my ass. I was taking Percocet 7.5 and 1 milligram Xanax for the last 10 years never did anything else. I did a urine test every month, perfect the last 3 months. they said I had Suboxone in my system. I've never heard of it never taken it but they said it was in my ear. I called them a liar. I took a test myself at home. it wasn't a good test that shows for Suboxone, so my daughter gave me the test that does. it came up positive. I swear I have never ever taken it. I am a pissed human ready to beat somebody's ass and I mentioned it. I live in a boardinghouse to the people within two days so one has moved out I found out he was on methadone and taking Suboxone living in a boarding house, we order pizzas and share it, somebody get a homemade meal they would all share it. What I came up with is the guy that moved out within 2 days from finding out that I know he put it in something that we ate because I wasn't the only one that showed up for suboxone. we are looking for this guy now to find out what the f***. I talked to many people that know him and yes he is capable of doing that. he did. it's his ex-girlfriend, so she would lose her kids. she is a clean sober Christian. Don't drink don't do drugs don't smoke no makeup like that type of girl. so wasn't in my system, it could have been but I didn't take it. you can't trust anybody. borrow a cigarette they could have put crack or marijuana in the cigarette. if you share something with someone you never know what is in it so I say be careful who you trust. sometimes the people you trust you can't really cuz they are out for something. after this guy had moved out we cleaned his room between the mattress and we have found Suboxone strips under his mattress. so that's another reason we think it was this guy Jason who was in jail for 7 bank robberies, heroin addict, drug abuse. I asked my doctor for a hair sample test to see how long and everything but it was still showing up. if somebody put it in my system because I never heard of it and never took it. so what I'm trying to say is if you came up positive is there somebody around you that would do such an evil evil thing to you that wants you to be discriminated lose what you have custody of children or lose your pharmaceutical for not sharing it to them or whatever the case may be. think it out. you can find the answer to your problems. I believe that some people are taking Suboxone and saying they're not but I also believe there are people that are genuine. I've never taken it too so think it over find out who you trust and don't trust. ask around if anybody is on them and take it from there. may God be with you. good luck. it's been over a month and a half, we still cannot find this guy.

I take 1200 mg Gabapentin 3xs a day, Phentermine 35.7 mg & 400 mg of Quetiapine daily. Can these cause me to have a false positive for Buprenorphine, because today I tested positive for Buprenorphine and I have never taken it?
