False Positive Medication

Hi, I'm really upset today because I'm in drug rehab (voluntarily) and was told today that I tested positive last week for opiates and benzodiapines. I am positive that I haven't taken any of these! I have been really working hard in rehab and am devastated by this'! I had one relapse and admitted it, even though it never came up on a test. The only medications that I have been taking any differently are some nighttime cold medicine for cough and a generic like Walgreens version if Benadryl during the day for allergies. Also I'm on prescriptions; Wellbutrin, Buspar, Resperidone and Trazadone, but I've been on them for awhile and haven't come up positive. I've been racking my brain trying to think of what could've happened and am so worried that I will come up positive and be kicked out after doing so well for 7 months! I just need advice, I want my counselor to believe me, but I know she doesn't.

What specific cold medication did you take?

It is possible that one or more of the ingredients in it may have caused false positives, but I can't check without knowing the specific ingredients to research for you.

I tested positive for opiates today and I have not touched an opiate in 7 months. I have been on the methadone program for almost 2 years I finally got one carry last month and started next month i will be getting two. I tested today and I tested positive. it wasn't just a trace of opiates but positive for opiates.
I to am very upset. I walk in to be tested proud and confident only to be called a liar. I brought up the medication I use for migraines and the sleeping pills I use. I have also been on the aforesaid medicine for over two years but only use for occasional migraines. If I didn't take any opiates I want to know how come I tested positive? I have a strong feeling the girls who tested the urine samples messed up. I heard one say to the other can you please look over my shoulder while I do this because I have never done it by myself before. This didn't dawn on me until I left the office. That said a junkie will lie through their teeth to get away with something and not care about the facts. I on the other hand know for a fact I did not use any opiates!!! I only wish I demanded a new test at that min but I didn't have to pee anyway. I am going back tomorrow to complain and insist to be retested. If their are opiates in my system then I want to know how they got there. Who am i associating with that would do this and i have to remove them from my life. But I don't believe I know anyone that would pull such a prank!!!
One time I tested positive for Ritalin via urine test and i never take Ritalin but the girl I use to buy my oxy from did and doc said that if I smoked an o that had been with a Ritalin it could very well show in my pee, so I accepted it knowing my dealer did Ritalin. But I can't accept this because i didn't voluntarily take anything.
