Does Anyone Take 100mg Top Dol Tramadol Tablets From India? (Top voted first)

Updated

Please help. I received 100 mg tramadol tablets yesterday that look different than they usually do. From HAB Pharmaceuticals India. They are usually small white round tablets with one line scored across one side of the pill. This time they were slightly larger tablets, round, white with two lines scored on one side in the shape of an "X" They have never looked like this, but the packaging says the same info as I usually get. They are in blister strips of 10. Even the blister strip is slightly larger than they usually are. Does anyone else take these 100 mg Top dol tramadol tablets from HAB Pharmaceuticals that have an X scored on one side?

Hi! You should be fine. My tramadol are always plain white circles and sometimes they have one score line and sometimes they have NO score lines whatsoever. It's usually 50/50. So, I have taken the new ones you got many many times, and they have always been the correct tramadol. I haven't had one problem with fake pills from HAB Pharmaceuticals so far, and I've been filling prescriptions from them for years. I am in the same boat as you. Started with an injury and have been addicted for 10 years! Recently I have cut way back though, and have been slowly tapering off with help from Kratom powder. It's currently still legal, easy to order online, and very cheap. It takes away 100% of my withdrawal symptoms. I definitely recommend it to you. It's been a lifesaver since I know how HORRIBLE withdrawals can be! But, anyway, yeah, you should be fine with the unscored ones. They are the same. At least they always have been in my case. Also, the ones I received last week with the X score on one side were in fact tramadol as well. I tried them and they were fine. Just so you know in case you get those too. Best of luck to you!

You sound so much like me it is incredible! My husband does not understand addiction-he sees it as a weakness or a moral failing. My 16 year daughter is more understanding than him! He has never so much as gone to alonon or even read a book about addiction unfortunately. I do have an appointment for an easement on November 15 so I'll let you know what they say. My tolerance levels are unbelievable even to people that deal with addiction! I guess 25 years will do that! Interestingly I have SiriusXM radio in my car -so I was listening to special on addiction. They had a dr who was one of the top addiction specialists in the country. I called into the show and actually got on the air! He gave great advice. I have a clip I recorded from the show of me talking! Pretty cool. He gave me some hope at least! I am definitely to the point where it is impossible for me to stop on my own!

Hi David you sound like a sweet and good person. And I wholeheartedly agree. I sorta have the opposite problem I am overly sympathetic. I have enough of my own problems but I am an art teacher in a very poor district and my heart breaks for some of these kids. I guess it's my artistic nature. Anyways I just started Kranton based on Kaylins advice so thank you Kaylin !!! Who knows you may have saved my life! It definitely does seem to help with cravings so far- I'm just not sure how much to take. I wouldn't wish this desease on my worst enemy what a horror. Thank you to both of you! I am going today to an assessment at a outpatient rehab it's my first apt so I'll see how it goes - I'll keep you posted if you want

Hi Debbie, I just wanted to thank you for your response and say that you're definitely not alone in being overly sympathetic. My wife and I can be the same way. And in my own personal experience, I sense that much of society that I come in contact with is shifting away from their mainstream ego's and into this innately loving and emotionally fine-tuned apparatus of our collective consciousness. I only write this to say that I think there's more people like us than we realize.

My uncle is an artist as well who focuses on educational art for children and classrooms in grade school; highlighting people helping others who have disabilities, empowering oneself through reading, etc, etc. I think what you both do is a great service to humanity and you are always appreciated!

Re: How much Kratom to take - Depending on the quality and strain, I personally take 1 level or semi-plump teaspoon (and often recommended that amount to my family/friends who've reported having success with this plant for pain management). I understand that everyone tends to respond differently, but in my research/experience, 2-4 grams is considered a therapeutic dose range for those who've never taken it before. Some strains however may require a higher threshold dose (e.g. 6-8 grams) based on their potency. My suggestion would be to start off small and gradually work your way up till you find that sweet spot.

One note of caution is if you take too much, it may make you feel nauseous and cause drowsiness for a few hours. A couple ways to mitigate that is to eat a little something and/or lay down (take a nap) until it passes. But once you find the optimum dose range for yourself, it's never really a problem.

I hope you find that the Kratom continues to help. I'll be sure to check back here whenever a response is posted, since I get a notification sent to my email.

Have a wonderful day Debby, and you as well Calyn!

Being with a partner who doesn't take the time out to understand you and what you're going through, I feel is a sign of neglect on their part. It sounds like he loves you enough to continue being with you, but what good is someone's presence if they don't feel you're worthy or portray you as being weak...? Marriage should be about coming together and working as a team for a common goal. I'm not insinuating that divorce is on the tablet, but him belittling you for being yourself is quite shallow in all aspects of the word. I for one would have a difficult time being with someone who didn't bother or care to see eye to eye (which is why most people get married to begin with, right?).

Anyways, sorry for the rant... I just had to vent after reading your story. I also second the idea of trying Kratom as my research also suggests that it's a promising alternative to various narcotic pain relievers. NIH.gov even has a study describing its notable application for alleviating opioid withdrawal.

David, I'm assuming you're talking to Debbie? I'm actually not married myself. (I mentioned my "husband" in an earlier message because it's faster to type than "boyfriend/fiancé/life partner or whatever we are" haha.

You are right about that and now I feel sorta crappy about making him seem so bad even though you have no idea who either of us are - is that f***ed up or what!? No really he can be a real a**hole but he's not all bad. You must be a really good person though for caring enough to write that so thank you and thank you for going out in the world and being a kind person.

Sorry Calyn, my apologies for not clarifying. I was meaning to respond to Debby in regards to her husband's behavior. -Debby, I really hope you're doing well and that you don't get down on yourself too much over this. None of us are perfect in that sense, but I wholeheartedly appreciate your thoughtful feedback. I feel that the world needs more empathetic beings to reach out and show support, so that is part of my mission/intent. Best wishes to you and your loved ones :)

Thank you so much for the kind and inspiring words. Hearing your words just now made a world of difference for me at this moment as I was feeling so defeated. I will hold onto your words- I needed to hear them today. It's nice to know there are genuinely kind and good people out there who do care.

Just imagine, if I will, all the people coming together, just like this, with a common goal of simply to HELP...or even better, to LISTEN!!! We did not wake up one day and decide to become addicted. I am thrilled my words helped. And those were just words,,,if even just a few people stretched out their hands to help, we could accomplish anything. Stay on your path, you are definitely on the right one. Listen to your head and heart, and pitch the rest. I'm also at war with a horrendous fentanyl addiction. I'm going to try the kratom powder this week and maybe i can whoop this devil in the ass! Either way, you are NOT alone, and you've got friends to help you get through this. I hope and pray for the best for you and yours, weather you believe it or not, you got half the battle won by just asking others for help and direction. You got this...just do you!

Hi Debby,
I was heavily addicted to tramadol for years... the drug changed my brain and I'm not the same person as Inuses to be. I have a hard time finding joy and motivation in my life, even while being blessed with an amazing, supportive husband, and two beautiful children. I got help 4 years ago... was on Vivitrol for 9 months, then changed insurance and because it was no longer covered (it's very expensive) my doctor put me on Suboxone. I switched to Subutex while Inwas pregnant, and still take it because I'm breastfeeding. I finally feel like I have my life back on track, and it's becoming easier to be happy. I don't think I'll ever be the same again, but I'm learning to love the person I am. I wanted to also mention that I was taking very high doses too-my doctor couldn't believe I wasn't having seizures. I took 10 50mg pills in the morning and another 10 in the afternoon. The dose got so high because over the years, the tramadol stopped working so I'd increase my dose... Tramadol is truly the devil in pill form! I hope you find a little comfort knowing that I've been where you are. Regardless of switching one pill for another, I am at peace knowing I'm being treated by a doctor who understands I'm an addict, I take the same dose every day, and best of all, I never, ever think about Tramadol anymore. I will probably be on Aubutez my entire life but I don't care! It's not Tramadol or Percocet, etc.
God bless you and your journey to escape the wrath of the pill-devil.

Hi again! Honestly, I would consider Kratom as a treatment option. Only because it's all natural, so it's thought to be healthier than just taking more pills to get off of one pill (in my opinion, I'm not a doctor, but I've tried everything since I've been on many medications on/off for 10-12 years so I do have a lot of personal experience with all kinds of substances). Kratom doesn't taste great (like really bitter tea) but you can get it in capsule form or I've found that mixing it with chocolate milk is the best tasting way to get the powder down if you don't get capsules. You wouldn't believe how great that stuff is. I've heard of opioid addicts using it to quit, and having it take away all their withdrawals believe it or not. I've only recently discovered the benefits of Kratom unfortunately. I wish I knew about it ten years ago, I would have quit pills then! Also, it helps with pain tremendously and to be honest, it does give a slight euphoria, which is probably why it's so good for withdrawals. But it's supposed to be so much less addictive than any pills you would use to quit opioids. (Again, just my opinion, and from what I've read) The one thing I haven't tried is Suboxone. I wish I could give you some advice there. I've heard it's hard to then stop taking Suboxone after you get off of the opioids. I never understood using one pill to quit another pill, but everyone is different. Did you end up taking the tramadol that looked different? Let me know if you need any advice about anything. I don't have anyone I can talk to about this subject, so I'm open to getting and giving advice! :)

Thank you so much for the reply - I appreciate your advice/support tremendously! I go to AA because I live in the boondocks! It helps but they don't know I'm still taking meds. My husband makes it worse at times - he thinks yelling will help! I think he's getting A bit better though. And I will definitely try that!! Hopefully it works for me as good as it did for you! {edited for privacy}

I totally understand the "husband yelling" my husband and I were constantly fighting about my tramadol addiction. I didn't blame him though, addicts can be very very selfish which makes it hard for the significant other to stay in the relationship. I quit two years ago for a few months but picked it right back up again. This time he doesn't know I've gone back on them though. I guess I'm good at hiding it after all these years. I'm not proud of it, believe me. He deserves better than that. I have cut WAY back though, and with the help of Kratom, I cut back more every week and will continue to taper until I'm off completely. It's been a lifesaver. I have run out of tramadol before and was glad I had the Kratom so that I didn't suffer the withdrawals. It worked 100%! The withdrawals were completely gone. I suggest always having some in the house for when you run out of medication. Good for you for going to AA! I've tried it, but I'm just not a social person, so I had a hard time opening up to strangers face to face. I hope it works for you. Do you drink as well? Or just pills? I don't drink at all anymore. Not because of addiction, but my hangovers were so horrible that it wasn't worth it! But I do miss having a glass of wine occasionally!

You sound like a beautiful person, and I mean that in every sense of the word. I am sorry you are in this hell of addiction too- I am all too familiar with fentanyl. I had a doctor who used to prescribe the patches to me for a while and I starting chewing on them - wow they are super powerful and addictive. I guess I'm lucky I can't get them anymore, looking back. I am just lucky I didn't kill myself. The insanity of this disease never fails to shock me. I really want my life back and my heart breaks for anyone caught up in this, especially someone like you who I can tell is a kind and good person. I hope you can beat this too but I believe you can - you seem to have the right attitude!

Corrine thank you so much for the inspiration- I am amazed by the goodness of people like you who want to help a total stranger for no other reason but to be a kind person. Honestly what you and a few other people have said on this site have really helped me tremendously. I feel like a dying person who was just thrown a life jacket by someone I will never see or know and can't even thank properly. I so know what you're saying about the changes in brain chemistry- sometimes I wonder how I ever got so far into this addiction. Like I mentioned earlier I've been an addict for a good 25 years. I am embarrassed to admit this but my average daily usage was double what you mentioned. I also went through an average of 2 blister packs a day as you did but mine were 100 mg pills. I wonder how I ever got to this point. I do know one thing though and that is I want my life back desperately I am so sick of living this way. I am seeing a counselor right now at an outpatient rehab every week in addition to group 2 x a week. It is looking like I am going to get to go on suboxone- I need to do something and I just can't do it on my own. If everything goes through with my insurance I should be able to be inducted on nov 29. I hear bad things about it from some people in NA but at this point I want to try anything that may help. I am not very familiar with the vivatrol. I so help it helps you and I am going to look it up myself to learn about it more. God bless you and thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Kratom is wonderful. I've been eating or drinking it daily for many many months. Not addictive. No side effects. No withdrawal whatsoever. Start with 5g in applesauce and eat slowly over the course of a couple minutes. Increase amount if needed. 2 to 3 times a day is fine. Red vein is strongest, most effective, most enjoyable in my opinion. Cheers:)

Debby
Hi there your post is a few weeks old but I read your difficulty with tramadol dependence and contemplation of suboxne as an alternative to treatment. As someone in the addiction treatment field and a former client of an assisted opiod replacement protocol I would highly advise against it unless you've struggled with a multi year addiction to very powerful substances ( i.e:morphine,dilaudid OxyContin ) and failed both in and outpatient treatment attempts. The reason is suboxne is much more difficult to taper from even under ideal circumstances with highly trained expierenced practioners of this protocol.Many many patients whom are dependent on suboxone type drugs and or methadone regret the day they began their journey on these powerful drugs but many are unable to take the very long and difficult process of detoxification.I hope I have enlightened you about the possible ramifications of oad's

@BlueScarlet,

The DEA actually retracted their ban on Kratom that would have originally gone into effect in October 2016. I believe this is because they didn’t expect such a large number of complaints and scientific backlash in the medical community that went against their misinformed decision to ban it. Many people were stocking up on it at that time because they weren’t sure what was going to happen, but yes, Kratom is still widely available to this day. I personally don’t think the DEA will succeed with their ban as long as doctors and other educated minds within the medical field continue to provide evidence of safety (which they have). The DEA was very irrational about their decision and have since faced a lot of scrutiny for making such a bad call.
