Albert, The detection time for opiates in a urine drug screen is only a couple of days so I doubt if it will show up. If the urine test is like a home dip test most of those don't even test for Tramadol.

I have a urine test on Friday and I'm taking 3 tramadol a day. I have taken lortab as well (5-7 pills altogether). Haven't taken any since Monday. Will it show up in my urine this Friday? If so, does tramadol show up as an opiate in urine samples? Thanks.

My 85 yo mother sometimes forgets she takes her 5 mg oxycodone before bed. She sometimes wakes almost unconscious and takes another which causes her to run out before her appt at the pain center. She lives alone and have tried several ways of avoiding this situation. None have seemed to work. I tried leaving her with her pm dose and am dose only bit she claims she wakes up in extreme pain and takes another.
We were honest with her pain doctor and he has upped her dosage to 10 mg. This seems to be working so far.
However she had in the past tested negative for oxycodone and we found that honest worked best for her at the Dr's office.

Not always true. I have a test today. I ran out again because my pain is getting worse and I started a job which involves lifting, I am lifting and doing more than I should but I don't want to loose my house or car, so I do it. In oretoo keep up and get hired in I had to take more than usual. now I'm out. I have only been here 6 months and don't know anyone to sell too or would I. and if I did then I would know where to get what I need too pass, so, not always the case.

Most likely tramadol won't show up on a hair drug test, even as an extended opiate test. The lab I deal with does not test for tramadol in hair. The Lortab would show up on an extended opiate test.

Can u put a little oxycodone into a synthetic urine bottle and get away with it if it gets sent to a lab after a 14 panel strip test? I need oxycodone to be in my system for my pain management appt. I took an 8 mg oxymorphone last night (Sunday) I have my Appt. at 3:30 on Wednesday. I have a very high metabolism. Tall and skinny. Should the oxymorphone be out of my system by then so I can just submit my urine that has oxycodone in it?
