I have been taking Soma for many years, along with lorcet and over the counter ibuprophen for about 7 or 8 years. I believe it all started when I landed on top of my head and fractured my spine in the very upper part of my back, because thats when all hell broke loose. Ir was one painful thing after the otheri have also been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, however u spell that but for # years I have been getting these 3 day, cant even talk or open my eyes or do anything else headaches caused from these very painful knots in my upper back an neck and base of my scull caused from spasms making the muscle around my entire head start having spasms. I have had allot of pain in my life but this by far the worst for the longest amount of time. I dont seem to get any relief from the pain pill, but the somas help sooooooo much. They are all that help. My doctor just stopped writing scripts for somas and I dont know what to do. I really need them, they are all that works for me. So, does anyone know a doctor in Montgomery alabama I can see that will write me the script fo somas or although I have never done this before, is it safe to order them online? If so, does anyone know one that you dont need a prescription, that is reasonable and safe?

Deborah....I feel u lady. I get the worst back spasms one could get. And absolutely NO doctor will write me somas. I also suffer with Fibro.

I take oxycodone for pain. I've had 2 fusion surgeries in a year. And I still have pain that can't be controlled with anything else..I have to go thru pain clinic here in Oregon. BECAUSE they have become so strict on who can prescribe them.. And even though I see a pain specialist. The pain contracts are extremely strict...Only pain clinics can prescribe for long time use. Oregon is one of the strictest states..I have to do UA at each monthly appointment. To make sure I have them in my system. They are a lot of people who sell them and because of that a regular doc will not prescribe them. Pain clinics are super hard to get into because of the fools who have sold them it's almost impossible to get them....And if u ever fail a drug screen NO One will prescribe for you...

I to have chronic pain. Mine comes from a herniated disc in my lower back and bulging disc's in my upper and lower back. I have nerve and muscle pain and it causes sciatica in both legs. I was prescribed soma in the past and it really helped and no doctor that I've seen will prescribe it to me anymore. It makes me angry since the DEA demonized it partly because some people without pain try to get a script for it and those of us who are really in chronic pain can't obtain what helps with the pain. Where and how can we get a prescription for soma 350 mg? I do NOT take any benzos, nor pain medication. Soma is the ONLY thing that helps. I only take a half, sometimes a whole at night before bed. Why are they getting rid of them? If someone is an addict, they will find anything to feel high on. Why make those in serious need suffer? I NEED HELP ASAP.

Yes SAME EXACT THING WITH ME ! I JUST HAVE 2 COLLAPSED DISC THAT SOMETIMES TOUCH NERVE ROOTS AND CAUSE MUSCLE SPASMS ONLY THING WORKS IS NORCO & SOMAS , I'M PRETTY UPSET THA T MY DR STOP PRESIDING THEM NOW AND U TRIED ALL THE OTHER _ ZANAFLEX, ROBOXIN FLEXARILLAMD IT HAS BAD EFFECTS ON ME WHERE THE SOMAS DON'T , I LIVE IN MS COULD U PLZ TELL ME WHERE I COULD GO GET THEM PRESCRIBED ??

I had polio at age 3 and I now have Post polio Syndrome I had my meds worked out so I did have "that quality of life" the pain dr talked about I took Soma for 8 yrs or more along with a pain med Then all the sudden they took the Soma away and reduced my pain meds I have cried and begged to no avail NOTHING else works so what are we the people with legit pain suppose to do I'm in Ga if you find any place please let me know my muscles spasm every day I'm 68 and I have no energy and not much will to live thank you

the reason of taking people off of soma is because they're mixing it with benzodiazepines which makes people black out and get in car accidents or basically made some zombies and they don't remember anything in the end killing someone or killing themselves or hurting someone hurting themselves but soma alone without the benzodiazepines taken as prescribed work just fine. I should also add that yes soma alone can kill you but you would have to take at least 8 to 10 or more for overdose to happen I know this personally because it's happened to me about 15 years ago and I was 2 weeks out of back surgery and took 13 soma and about the same amout of Norco 10/325 I was down to 4 breathes a min and uncontus I spent 4 days in icu in a coma. When I was injured in the army they wanted to put me back on them after being clean for 5 yrs they ended up putting me on 10 milligrams of Valium 4 times in day for the next 5 years then when I got out and transferred to the VA they took me off the valium and put me on 2 milligrams of klonopin 3 times a day and it works great the valium works great The klonopin works great and I have no worries like I did when I was taking the soma.

Where might I ask. I was on some the only muscle relaxer that worked because it helps me sleep due to severe insomnia as well as a muscle relaxer i am in the process of finding a new doc because our hospital here closed down see he decided to retire.
