I need some help. I have a kidney infection. I have been on methadone for 18 years. I have been told that you can't mix the two together. They said it would put me in withdrawal as it would kill the methadone in me. If anyone knows about this I would appreciate it very much.

I am also on methadone but I only take 5 mg a day which is nothing. If you take a higher dose I would probably not take ciprofloxacin, but if you're on a pretty low dose it's fine. I am on Cipro about every two months because of UTIs.
