Ask About Side Affets

When a Doctor give you a shot of the drug Prolia, he should advise you of the serious side effects. My Wife took the first shot six Month ago and she go to bed crying every night. The prolia Nurse says do go to emergency and we did, that was a waste of time they do not have any idea what Prolia is. She will not take any more injection on the ad vise of several Doctors. She is having problems with her Jaw and the Doctors just a wafe it off and say it is not a side effect of prolia. She cant sleep she has red spots al over her legs.

The Dentist is keeping a close watch on her teeth because the are starting to seperate and it goes on and on, she does not have Osteoporosis and all of this started with a dislocated wrist. She is 71 and her quality of life is no lounger a happy one. She also had TB and the Doctor gave her the shot anyway.Can anyone help her?

For others that are contemplating on taking this be sure you ask all the question in relation to the side effects. Its a shame they use humans as testing animals..

It does have other medical uses, such as some arthritis conditions, so it isn't just used for Osteoporosis.

They should have given her a monograph sheet about the injection, this is such information available here:

As to someone that may help, has she considered seeing a different doctor and not returning to this one?

My wife has taken the Prolia shot twice and is now in more pain then ever. She did not have osteoporosis, is 62, and has always been in generally good health. Her pain symptoms have increased. They include: severe jaw pain, severe stomach pain, pain under her right arm, more colds than ever in her life - three in 6 months! We also went to the emergency room because of abdominal pains but they saw nothing and recommended she take 4 types of laxatives! I almost believe that we are all being used as guinea pigs for the new world of medicine which has become nothing more than writing scripts and tapping on your chest. Can anyone tell me how long Prlixia stays in the sytem?

I AM ASKING ABOUT MEDICATIONS TO SEE WETHER OR NOT THEY SHOULD BE TAKEN TOGETHER, THESE ARE PRESCRIBED MEDS. THE DRUG " ELMIRON 100MG" AND LORAZEPAM 0.5 MG AND FLOUXETINE 20 MG AND ALSO AMITRYPTYLINE 150MG" QUESTION SHOULD THESE DRUGS BE TAKEN TOGETHER.
