Accutane May Have Ruined My Life.

Hello,

I am a 19 year old male and was prescribed accutane when I was 14 years old. I was a normal teenager that was taken advantage of the selfish, pharmacy, money over everything market. I was prescribed 40 mg for five months. I am currently a 19 year old male and suffer from severe depression, anxiety, and social anxiety. I have been on zoloft with almost no help. I never have energy and rarely feel motivation, energy, or sexual arrousal. I feel as though I am a 50 year old man who lost his testosterone. It stunted my growth as I did not grow a single inch after taking it and I am only 5'6" on a good day. I experience muscle weakness and back pain daily. I am very sorry for what you've experienced.

However, while Accutane has been known to cause many problems after someone has taken it, you would have the burden of proof.

There is really no way to prove that you wouldn't have suffered depression, low libido or only been 5'6" if you hadn't taken it.

I'm not trying to say it didn't cause it, because I have read many, many reports on the problems it's caused people, I am just honestly presenting you with both side of the coin. Whether it be a class action law suit, or just you suing someone, the burden of proof would be yours.

As to the Zoloft not helping, what other antidepressants have you tried?

My sons are having the same symptoms. They have not grown in 5 months and suddenly have a bone age of 17 at the ages of 13. I wish you could share more info with me. We just discovered the stunted growth thing last week and we are devastated.
