Okay. I've been eating Xanax like candy since February when my dr did prescribe me 1 mg a day... But I often took more than that. I went from about 8 mg a day to 1 mg a day a few weeks ago... My withdrawal symptoms are awful, I even had a seizure 2 months ago when I tried to go cold turkey. I have excessive sweating, my forehead is on FIRE, I can't eat, I feel like I'm panicking constantly. What are my odds of dying at this point? I mean, it's been a few weeks... I just had a bad withdrawal from green 2mg bars. I have taken anti-anxiiety meds for years, mainly xanax. I will not take them again! My w/d consisted of migraines, hallucinations, tremors,, catatonic states of mind, extended stomach and just not wanting to live. I have been taking Xanax off and on for about 7 months and lately I have only been taking .25 mg like twice a week. I want to stop taking Xanax all together but everytime I wait like 3 to 4 days I start feeling extreme anxiety and I feel like I need to take some Xanax. And I only take .25mg. I have been on xanax 3 mg for almost a month now I stopped cold turkey last week and couldn't handle it by the fifth day. So now I'm back to 3 mg again. I have take Harvoni for 6 months. Along with xanax and sometimes ambein to help sleep. I have been off two days and my fatigue is worse. I can not sleep. My mind is overtime. I have been in pain management for years, lost my doctor along with other patients, and primary won't fill or says she can't and messes up my progress to get in new pain management in time. Had left practice unexpectedly 3 weeks ago n the other providers n the office wont write for any of my scripts except for the norcos. I do want to warn everyone that is taking Benzodiazepines. Xanax, Clonazepam, Klonipin, Ativan, Valium, etc.. THIS IS A PSYCHOTIC DRUG! ONLY TO BE USED FOR 2-4 WEEKS. I was put on them for yrs. I have taken Effexor XR for many years-it stopped working, so I weaned myself off and took nothing since this past July. I do take Xanax 1mg 3xday. Well-Life took a left turn on me and started on Viibryd. Bad Move! I'm very sensitive to meds-I took the 10 mg for 3 days and cut it down to 5mg for 2 weeks. I did 2 days of 2.5 then stopped. I'm scared to death. I've been on 8mgs of xanax for 7 years and on 4mgs of klonopin for 2 years before that. As my tolerance grew so did my need for more xanax but 8mgs is the highest amount allowed to be prescribed. I've tried almost every drug to help with sleep before and nothing worked. I had a doctor that never saw me and all I had to do was pick up my prescription. I never thought I'd lose him. I'm now physically addicted and dependent on xanax. I was on 120 mg of methadone for 8 years straight with no relapse, so I decided to quit it. I got down to 110mg and had the weekend take home so i have been taking half of a half of 5mg and now I'm out. That was 1 week ago and yesterday when i ran out of the 5 mg I started to feel sick. Omg I'm f***n miserable! I didn't think I would have withdrawals this bad after only a month and a half of taking thus drug everyday. It's literally comparable to a milder xanax withdrawal.
