Won T Fill My Rx

So I've been on suboxone for almost a year. I know no early fills and the whole deal. But this month it's been a fiasco. Last month dropped my rx off at Riteaid but got partial fills. The last partial fill was for 5 strips which is 4 days but in the system the tech put that it was 12 days because of that error when I brought it to CVS this month they fill half of it and charged me full amount. (Even with insurance it costs me a hefty penny). I asked the pharmacist and tech wHy my insurance didn't cover it, and she said it was a day to early. At that time it seemed odd since I hadn't had my daily dose because I had to make my appt a day later than usual. I live in riverside county Ca. 92553. I recieve a rx from my pain dr. for the past 2yrs. Why won't no pharmacy fill my rx.They can call his office n his staff he will verify it.All the pharmacies keep saying it's on back order, they don't carry it,n no one will order it for me. I'm back 2 square 1 again! My PCP won't refill my Tramadol Rx since it changed drug classifications & I don't know what I'm going 2 do! She said she feels it should be written by a Pain Dr & my Pain Dr doesn't write any pain medicine Rx's. My Pain Dr is holistic. He does acupuncture & massage & nerve blocks. Oxycodone is yesterday's news, get over it!!!! You all need to stop crying, and face fact's, Roxyies are gone!!! Don't dispare, Zohydro Er just got approved by, Money,Lobbyist, and the DEA. Packs 10 time the punch of Roxies!! My neurologist of 12 year's said I'll have my Rx's for Zohydro next month, and yes, there water soluble. I was issued 2 scripts from the same Dr. For 10mg/325 Oxycodone. Due to Surgery last week total Hip Replacement! I know I will have to pay out of pocket cause my insurance just filled at beginning of the month. He gave me 2 due to tolerance & going through PHYSICAL THERAPY 2 to 3 times a week! Hi - My Dr prescribed Belviq after several years of healthy eating and exercise with nothing but a slow weight gain. Took all the necessary blood work / tests to rule out anything else. It's working so far but now I've dropped enough weight after one month that I'm just below the 30 BMI now. I go back to see my DR in a week for a weight in and to get a refill but am worried that either my DR or my Pharmacist won't fill it now that I'm below 30. I have been told over & over that my prescription for oxycontin has expired after 14 days. I have had this problem with CVS Caremark, Inc Mail Order Pharmacy numerous times. This went on throughout 2014 & in to 2015. They continue to screw with me. They will fill it, then they won't. I have been told by my Dr. who's office is in NV that it is valid for 30 days, but because I live in Arizona, CVS says it's expired after 14 days. I know for a fact it is still valid but they continue to argue with me. Can they be filled one or two days early? ## It really depends on your pharmacy, it can be filled a day, or two early, technically, but some pharmacies won't do so, thus it is best to ask them the next time you are in to pick up a medication. I have insurance that covers my oxycodone prescription once every 30 days. However, can I fill a prescription early if I don't use my insurance? ## The pharmacists check the Prescription Monitoring Program in your state before filling these rxs. It will depend on how early it is and also on the pharmacist. The only thing your insurance company decides is if it is too early they won't pay for it. I've looked all over the Internet and cannot find a straight answer to this question. My mother has been on the same Rxs for almost 20 years, and has always had the same doctor. She has medicaid. She has chronic pain, from lupus and fibromyalgia. In the past she has been able to refill some of her 30 day scripts at only 28 days. I know some pharmacies won't fill until the 30 days, however it usually is not an issue as long as medicaid approves. This month the pharmacy told her that the laws have changed and that since she has filled early in the past, they now are documenting and back dating all the times she's filled early and said that she should have a stock pile of all of those days. Why won't the Rx. Do what the Dr. Says. He fills we need that medication , what gives the Rx. To power to so no, we are not filling that prescription ## What reason did the pharmacist give for not filling it? It could be that they don't carry the medication, they are worried about how much was prescribed, the doctor may be flagged in their system, the patient it was written for might be flagged in their system…. it's hard to say, but it is up to the discretion of the pharmacist. I recently filled my monthly adderall Rx and it was damaged during flooding from hurricane. I brought it to my dr who verified it, destroyed and wrote a new rx. FL pharmacy won't refill early, nor will insurance. Question is, if I mail order it from out of state, can that bypass the fill date verification?

My father is disabled due to 4 back surgeries has iron plates n screws in his back. He has a decent doctor in Texas only problem is we live in Louisiana and his pharmacy that was filling his prescriptions got shut down due to bad accusations. My internal Dr. retired and I am having a BIG problem finding another Dr. who will fill Adderall for my ADD for me. Does anyone from the Rockford area know of any Drs in this area? I went to 63 pharmacies in Jax trying to fill a legitimate rx (MS / 22 yrs) with cash in hand, before giving up. I normally fill it through my insurance company's mail order pharmacy, which has never been a problem (because it's not based in Florida)... But this new wonderful healthcare system of ours has resulted in me getting dropped from my plan -- and now I'm one of the 28,000+ people who don't have insurance yet because of that website snafu in early March when I enrolled/paid. I've never been a government naysayer, but this is beyond unacceptable. Out of meds and getting sicker, but totally helpless.

Walgreens won't fill my percription of 180 , 8 mg hydromorphone without contacting doctor to get a code to fill is this true my doctors office was closed so I have to try again tomorrow ## I am also on 8mg of Hydromorphone and have my Rx's filled regularly at Walgreens. The max perscribbed dose of this medication is 4x/day which comes to a monthly script total of 120 tablets.
