I have been taking pantop 40 for more than 6 years now just when I wake up. I am scared of using the drug for so long and want to stop it but feel sick if I don't take it. Can you please let me know if it is harming me in any way and what other alternative is there. I am obese and suffer from slip disc and severe cramps in my legs when I sleep. Kindly guide. My father recently took Pantop 40 for the treatment of gastritis along with Opidol (tramadol hydrochloride 50 mg) while he was having the red erythematous patches in his extremities. There were some of patches in the lower abdomen. All these persists along with some abdomen pain. ## Has the gastritis improved, at all? And as to the low heart rate, if you're taking this and experiencing that, then you need to contact your doctor immediately. I was non symptamatic before taking pantoprazole. Now I have nausea, sleep problems and overall having stomach issues I did not have. Gastro doc prescribed after upper GI as a preventive measure. Ready to stop all together. ## Same problem here, once I take a Pantoprazole in the morning I cannot sleep the next night. Never had problems sleeping before.
