I just found out I am pregnant and im an addict. I have an appointment with a dr to get detox meds which will be either subutex or suboxone but ive heard one is better than the other for when you are pregnant. Does anyone have any info to help me out please!? ## Hi, Amber! Congrats on the pregnancy and getting help with your addiction! As to which is better, I did some research and found out that both have been used successfully during pregnancy, though Subutex is often preferred since it doesn't contain the Naloxone that is in Suboxone, so it's one less risk to the baby. You can find Suboxone details here. The Naloxone is really the only difference between them. The best thing you can do is discuss all of your concerns and any possible risks with the doctor, so they can help yo...

pl let me know how to use and side effects of b tab ## on which day of menstrual period to take this pill, after food or before food, day or night ## B-Gap is nothing more than an herbal product and is not actually proven to prevent pregnancy. If you do choose to risk using it, then you would have to follow whatever instructions are provided with the product. For a woman that wants to prevent pregnancy, please see your doctor and use a proven contraceptive method. Are there any other questions or comments? ## on which day of menstrual period to take this pill, after food or before food, day or night ## It's totally FAKE tablet. My wife used this as per given instruction but got pregnant within a month after taking the pill. Please don't take the RISK. Better to consult gynecologist ...

I'm 19 weeks pregnant. Had a sore throat and now I feel a drip almost to the back of my throat. The throat specialist advised since my cough is dry and he saw my left nasal passage slightly swollen I take 3 Predisolone 5mg tablets twice daily for 6 days. I don't really want to take drugs whilst pregnant so I can I start n stop this once I feel better before the dosage ends? ## Hello, Josanne! How are you? No definitive proof of harm to the baby has been proven, when a woman takes this while pregnant, but risk can't be ruled out, so it's placed in pregnancy category C and is recommend that it only be used during pregnancy if there are no alternatives available. But, if you do start it, you should finish all of it, as prescribed. Did they have you try any other medications...

I take the max dose of suboxone 8-3 3times a day with out much pain or anxiety relief. Is subutex better and is it ok for me to ask my doc to switch ## Hello again, Lorcos! The difference is that Suboxone contains Buprenorphine and Naloxone, while Subutex only contains the Buprenorphine. And under current DEA directives, unless someone has a serious allergy to the Naloxone, they must be prescribed Suboxone and Subutex is to be reserved for pregnant women. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you so much for your reply, It was truly very hel...

what are the birth defects of a pregnant women taking roxy coden. ## I took roxys my whole pregnancy with my son and he was born healthy and normal. Now let me say that was the only thing i was taking and did all my prenatal care as told by my dr. I was taking 10 roxys. Im an iv user. But i don;t recommend taking chances with your pregnancy because the more you take the higher your chances of your baby being born in withdrawl. I've seen babies in withdrawl and its horrible. I was lucky and my son was completely healthy and still is! ## I know this is over a year later but I just wanted thank you because even though everyone is different I'm in the same exact boat as you and you just made me feel so much better and for that I'm grateful!!! Hi my wife has severe tooth ache and went to see the doctor. He gave her antibiotic due to the absess the tooth made but said she can only use panado for her tooth and she is pregnant. Panado does not help what else can she take? ## Be sure the antibiotics aren't Tetracycline. It can turn the babies teeth yellow when their teeth come in. She may need to see a dentist. It is difficult to treat someone when they're pregnant because there are two patients instead of one. The Panado may work better after she has had several doses of the antibiotic.

Please tell me how this tablet will help me in getting lesser pain? What are all the side effect of this drug? I just want to be assured it's not a painkiller? ## This is just a supplement that has been known to help better balance hormones in some women. I'm pregnant 18 weeks. Is it ok to take these pills will being pregnant? ## Hello, Ruby! How are you? Congratulations on the baby! :-) The antibiotic Nitrofurantoin is in pregnancy category B, so it's considered safe to use, up until a woman is near term or in labor (38 to 42 weeks). I have been taking subutex for about 7months now , before that I took suboxone for 2 yrs . I like the subutex a lot better not near as groggy and less headaches. I have been very careful about not getting pregnant and somehow it happened . I take half of an 8mg tablet 3 times a day but here recently since being pregnant it doesn't seem to be working as well , I realize I have a lot of extra blood flow and am assuming that's probably why. Also everytime I go to put them under my tounge within 2-4 mins the morning sickness kicks in and I throw everything up including the majority of the pill . Well it's 9 days till I get my next refill and I'm out and I don't know what to do. Should I call my Dr to see if I can refill early or what ? I guess I'm just afraid to ask ...

My wife is pregnant and I just found out she has been taking Subutex for several months. To make matters worse she's been trying to taper off this drug under the advise of someone she met at other forums. She hasn't let the doctor know she's been taking this drug and this guy has her convinced he can taper her off without harming the baby. I'm besides myself and trying to get her to at least let the doctor monitor her progress on a regular basis while she gets off this stuff. Is this really safe for her to be doing or am I right in thinking she's lost her mind trusting this person? ## I am on subutex and pregnant. I am on methadone am 39yrs old i want another baby is it possible to get pregnant. ## Yes, you can still become pregnant. However, once you are pregnant, your doctor may want you to switch to a different medication, because there may be some risks associated with taking it, while pregnant. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You may be better served by checking into it, before trying to become pregnant. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am taking primulot N and bromegon because I have delayed periods (by 4 months). I am 31yrs. Is it ok? Or is there any other (better) drug for such treatment? ## A proper solution is really going to depend on what is causing the problem, it could be due to a hormonal imbalance, stress or other health problem. Are you on any other medications? Have you consulted your doctor? Having them do an exam to look into the matter would be the best thing to do. ## I had my last periods on feb. 28th 2017. Because one doesn't work?? Please I need a quick answer ? ## Hi, Esmeralda! Are you feeling any better? When it comes to something like this and your pregnancy, you really need to consult your doctor. The health of your kidneys could play a role here, as well as the fact that you're pregnant and any other medications you may be taking. It's just really not a good idea for someone online with such limited information to give you a definitive answer in such a s...

I started taking a 10 day prescription for Nitrofurantoin at 6 months pregnant for a UTI almost 4 weeks ago. Eight or nine days into taking it, my heart rate went up to 173. For about 14 hours it fluctuated above 145. Three days after that went away, I got a pressure headache that felt like someone was squeezing my head and broke out in hives. A few days following that I ended up having severe joint and muscle pain, stiff ankles, my heels feel like they are on fire. And I CANNOT walk! The pain is excruciating. It hurts to sit, stand, and especially walk. The headache went away, the rapid pulse, and the rash is getting better, but the tremendous joint pain remains. It hurts so bad at times I just cry! I pray that the baby is ok. I usually use cranberry extract and natural cures, but this...
