My Dr in Marysville Wa. Closed down by DEA. I've been on Methadone 20 yrs and am looking for another Dr in the Seattle, Everett, Belingham Washington areas that prescribe methadone. Please help, I'm Alaska pipeline worker that travels and am currently running on scared, about to fire up the Suboxane routine but not even the Dr knew what I should take or when. Need help quick. ## Did you ever find a doctor that worked for your pain? I also 20yrs on my meds and my Dr retired. Don't know what to do with my two kids, and I am about to just give up... Any info would help. Thank you.

New to the Seattle area and looking for a pain doctor or pain management clinic accepting new patients. any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks ## In regards to finding a local pain doctor, I have listed below a couple websites specific to locating pain management doctors in a given area. All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} You can give this other page a try too if you come up with different results for some reason or another: wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist Many of the results you find (in one or both of the links above) also list a phone number for that specific doctor; I'd consider calling up a number of them to see if they are accepting new patients; some aren't, but...

Need a methdone dr near seattle for bad back...was a concrete rker for 14 years before back gave out. now tryin to find methadone pain dr seattle everett are. ## While I don't necessarily have a doctor I can refer you to, I actually came across a list of physicians in Seattle who are known for prescribing Methadone. Maybe this link can be of service to you: methadonedocs.com/methadone-suboxone-doctors/Washington-Wa/Seattle.aspx I hope this helps! ## DAVID!!! I love you brother. Recently moved to Seattle from Alaska and had me a good Dr to continue my methadone intake. I've been on it since 1992, resulting from getting shot through my neck. My new Washington Dr had her license partially revoked by DEA 2 days before my 480 pill pick up. Now I'm on Suboxone being treated like a...

Due to the new WA state laws, I have been taken off Oxy 10s and put on Buprenorphine which is not working. Need to find a doctor in Oregon. I currently live in Seattle. ## If you live in WA and have a WA identification, then a doctor in Oregon isn't going to be able to prescribe you a controlled substance, either. The same laws have been put in effect throughout the U.S., not just in WA. If you require something such as Oxycodone for long-term pain treatment, except for in rare cases, you'll have to see a pain management specialist for treatment. There are new restrictions on what any general practice doctor or surgeon can prescribe. Learn more Buprenorphine details here. What type of doctor have you been seeing? ## I was a CA resident, moved to OR and WA and neither state physi...

My pain doctor of 2 years is decreasing doses for all patients of all pain meds. I take Methadone. Don't know why she's doing it but seems like it's some kind of a DEA thing. Anyway, I have to finder another doctor in the Seattle area. Does anyone know of somebody? Any help is appreciated more than I could express. Thank you. ## Hello, Steve! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. However, you're going to experience the same thing, regardless of what doctor you see. They all have to do it, the current DEA recommendation is no more than the equivalent of 120mgs of Morphine, per day, with the caveat that they keep the patient's dosage as low as possible. The only exceptions are for those that have intractable pain from a possibly terminal ...

Severe back pain - ptsd - severe head aches. Looking for a doctor, maybe VA. Will VA prescribe?.. Also they lost my medical records. ## Hello, Brandon! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain, no one should have to suffer. However, there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. I know most VA hospitals have pain management programs, so you could try contacting them. Does anyone else have any ideas? ## VA will not prescribe opiates. My Dad suffers as well and they just overload him with NSAIDS and recommend neck surgery. We are not sure that would be a great idea for someone 70+ with PTSD and no discs between C5, C6 and C7 ## I can relate, also have ptsd and back problems, all i can say is this: getting on the opia...

Brand name Singular works great for me. The only generic that works is the one made by Mylan. I'm trying to find out what pharmacies in Seattle carry mylan brand generics and specifically the Mylan generic for Singular. ## My son takes singular and our insurance would not cover it. My Dr contacted her drug reps and gives me 30day supply in samples everymonth maybe that is something that will work for you

I live in Seattle area I need help I don't have much money I want to get on a Soboxne program. I've tried quoting Percocet but I only make it a few days if anybody knows a cheap programs out here please help you can email me {edited for privacy} ## Hello, Ron! How are you? Unfortunately, since Suboxone is administered by private physicians, there are no cheap programs. Have you considered a Methadone clinic? It's usually a much cheaper route. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## You can contact Beckitt Renkiser, the maker of Suboxone. They will give it to you for 1 year free of charge. It's a one time offer. Or go to Patients assistance o...

Hi. I get severe migraines during the rainy season ( I know, Seattle? Basically ALL the time...) I also have sciatica and it has become much more painful since having my twins. I am desperate for some relief. Thanks! ## Hello, Twinmomma! How are you doing? Sorry about the pain you're in and congratulations on the twins! As to a doctor for pain medications, due to the new regulations that were put in place this year, if you require them on a long-term, ongoing basis, then you'll need to see a pain management specialist. General practitioners and surgeons have been severely restricted on what they can prescribed, how much they can prescribe, why they can prescribe it and how long they can prescribe it. Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you somewhere? That would be the e...

I need a legit doctor that won't rip me off In the tacoma/Seattle area. Any help is greatly appreciated in advance!?? ## Hello, Becky! How are you? For addiction treatment, Suboxone can only be prescribed by doctors that have the special waiver to treat with it. You can search for doctors in your area by using the zip code search at the website, Suboxone.com. Their contact information will be included. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, drowsiness and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Looking for a doc who prescribes in the Tacoma, Seattle area. Someone who understands chronic pain and doesn't treat you like a drug addict when I have genuine pain and can't function without it. Please help. ## Hi, Lucy! Sorry that you're in pain and miserable. However, in this general area, your best for getting the help you need is to see a pain management specialist. Most general practitioners and clinics are now refusing to prescribe such medications and only referring people to a pain specialist. Do you have a GP that could refer you somewhere? I am a 45 yr old female who has chronic pain. 18 yrs ago I was an addict ans was on methadone treatment for 7 yrs in seattle. I moved to Idaho and detoxed off my program for 3+yrs. I had back surgery and was prescribed meds that unfortunatly gave me some physical addiction. I asked my family doc for methadone for pain and explained my past. He prescribed to me for 2 yrs and refered me to a pain clinic due to pain issues and the pain doc discontinued my methadone and used dillaudid. I have recently moved to ontario oregon and cant make the 65 mile drive regularly and most all the docs I have seen refuse to prescribe pain meds sometimes period. Cannot find this pill anywhere and i wanted to know what it is exactly. The story is that they came from a doctor in Chinatown... I live in Seattle, WA . One side of the pill is blank, the other has a capital HC on the top half, divided by a split mark (so to easily break the pill in half)- and the numbers 1402 on the lower half. The pill appears coated, a bit glossy. The imprinted numbers on the lower half appear to slant a bit. Thats about all I can tell you, any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks. ## I'm not entirely sure, but being as I also live in the Seattle area and I know how popular homeopathic products are out here, especially in the Chinatown area, I have a suspicion that there are probably something manufactured by Hyland's. They tend to use the HC on a lot o...

Where is the cheapest place to get this medication? The price has doubled over the past 3 months. Barb ## Hello, Barb! How are you? What is your general location? My pharmacy in Seattle is always relatively inexpensive, but I don't think that will help you much, if you don't live in the area. Can you please post back with more details? Thanks! ## Sorry, I live in Florida. Was able to get the tablets instead of time released, for a lot less. Not sure if they will work the same.
