I am unable to work for the first time in my life leaving me to rely on medicaid being I am unmarried. I live in southern western part of Pennsylvania. I am willing to travel for treatment, Pittsburgh is about 1 1/2Hrs away, Butler, 1 Hr 15 minutes, Altoona is about 30 min. away from my home.I am in need of a competent pain management doctor, or physiatrist or internist, willing to do medications. Wanted to introduce a wonderful clinic I had heard of for years and finally went to before Christmas. I have been treated like I am a "REAL" patient. Background for me....nurse and 25 years since my first auto accident and back surgery starting my pain management and 5 back surgeries plus many more pain medical issues. This facility is known all over and has a fabulous reputation and I am vouching for them personally...."TEXAS TYLER PAIN CLINIC"....with offices in Tyler, Longview, Lufkin and Sulfur Springs.....TexasPain.com. My old pain dr. did me a favor by dropping me and I finally had to go out of town for a Medicare/Medicaid provider with Texas Pain. The MD's are board certified in "PAIN MANAGEMENT" vs other pain MD's are usually anesthesiologist mayb...

My physiologist just informed me after 5yrs. that they would not be accepting Medicaid anymore. I don't know why, I feel like they are trying to push me out. I take Suboxone & Alprazolam. The Suboxone alone is almost $500 & Alprazolam is $130 a month. How am I, (someone who tries to live on Disability) suppose to pay for that? Even w/ my Medicare I'll still have to pay 20%. Anyone know any good doctors between Livingston and Conroe? ## I have complex regional pain sydone and nerve damage as well

Doctors thar accept medicaid in houston, tx area that prescribe oxy and morphine ## Do they really accept Medicaid? ## Hello, Lisa! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. And due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require such medications on a long-term, ongoing basis, you'll need to see a specialist. Do you currently have a PCP that may be able to refer you to someone? If so, that would most likely be the easiest way to find the help you need. Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area? ## There are no new regulations that state you must see a Pain Management Dr for chronic pain. Although it may be very difficult to find a pcp who will treat a new p...

Does anyone know of any primary care physicians in the Shreveport/Bossier City/Haughton/Minden area that do pain management? I have been going to a pain management doctor here in Shreveport for about 6 years now, but it is just getting to expensive. He refuses to to go any higher on my dosage of Oxycontin, which is 30 mg 3 times a day. And he will not give me anything for break through pain. I am on Medicaid so I have to pay him out of pocket. Medicaid pays for 60 of my oxy's, but I have to pay for the other 30. If I knew of a primary care physician that accepts does some pain management and also accepts medicaid it would be a really big help. I'd really appreciate anyone that could help me out and answer this. Thank you. ## There aren't any PCP's who do Pain Management ...

The Methadone is also very strong. And yes, it is also true that Medicaid does not cover some medications, such as the time released Oxycodone, due to the problems with abuse and diversion of it. I need a pain management doctor in the northern virginia or central virginia area that accepts medicaid and isn't scared to prescribe the necessary medications for chronic pain. ## I'm sorry, but there are no listings of doctors according to what insurance they accept, or what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. All doctors have to be very careful about what they prescribe, due to severe government regulations. If they don't, they could lose their license to practice medicine and most doctors have far too much time and money invested in their careers to be willing to do that. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly that could refer you to someone? If so, that would most likely be the easiest way to get the help you need.

I need a pain doctor or pain clinic who doesn't require a referral, takes Medicare and Medicaid, who will prescribe my Xanax 2mg, Dilaudid 8mg, Roxy 30, Soma 350mg. I have my paperwork from the hospital state to take these meds. I need someone in Atlanta Ga, or Roswell Ga, Lwrncvil Ga. ## Hello, Cindy! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain. As to your medications, it is doubtful that you will find one doctor that will prescribe them all. Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you need to see a specialist, so for that list, you'll most likely need to see a pain management specialist, as well as a psychiatrist for the Xanax. These medications carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dr...

I am in the process of looking for a New pain management Dr in the Gainesville, FL area that takes Avmed insurance and one that takes Prestige medicaid for my Mom. We had both been seeing same Dr for past 2 yrs and although I didn't like his obnoxious know it all attitude when you came prepared by doing your own research on your medical issues or new medication and in my case anything to help for my myofascial pain, he cuts everything down. But most recently he retaliated against my elderly Mom after we had all 3 decided on a plan of care. Then after a disagreement on a paper I brought in that would not harm my body if it failed or worked (all natural approach) he pulled two of my mom's meds and changed one. Wasn't even man enough to bring the scripts to her and tell her. Unles

My mother in law just moved down here from SC. She's in need of a GOOD pain management doctor as she has had 2 back surgeries and has had a broken skull 3 times.
