I am vacationing in Florida all week, and my Rx for 30 mg oxycodone tablets has come up missing. I have already contacted my doctor and he informed me there is nothing he can do about it. I really do not want pain to ruin my vaca, or go through withdrawal symptoms. ANY SOLUTIONS?? ## Where are you vacationing from? Another state? ## Yes, Ohio. My doctor no longer prescribes narcotics. I have 4 bulged discs, a degenerative disc and sciatica. I have been on Dilaudid 8 mg 3 times a day for months. This is ludicrous! I have been on pain medicine and my xanax (benzodiazepine) for 13 years. My doctor who has been practicing for 4 years had a baby and when I went to pick up my prescriptions for severe, debilitating anxiety and panic disorder with 2 bum knees and a back that is shot and diabetic neuropathy said that they could not refill my medication anymore and i would need pain management. I do not have health insurance until mid october this year. I told them I could not afford that and they did not care. They said they would send me a referral via mail and I never received anything. Is there any pharmacies in Orlando or places around the neighborhood that will fill a prescription for Roxicodone 30 Mg or 15 Mg ? Express scripts filled them but i received total junk !! not from the manufacture, but some off the wall company, and gave me very bad side effects. I live in Orlando and am looking for a new Dr. To prescribe me the proper pain medication I need for my chronic pain I have taken 30 mg oxycodone for years and also oxymorphone I prefer the oxycodone which has helped me in my day to day life tremendously? My primary care physician said I need to start getting my medication from a pain management Doctor as he is not willing to prescribe for more than 2 months. Can anyone here refer me to a good doctor? I have tried a spinal inj. and had a moderate allergic reaction to it (hives, sweats, nausea). ## I need a good pain doctor in Orlando. I have a few bad disks and the national pain institute wasn't working for me. I was just someone to gain money off of. Have a legitimate prescription for Hydrocodone 5/325 but have been all over Orlando and no pharmacy has them in stock. Have tried them all - Walgreens, CVS, Target, WalMart, etc. Can anyone help? I have been on rox and oxy for the past 10 years before all this drama started. Back when you could find out if the pharm could fill the script via phone. My Dr. is obviously the one privy to my medical records and therefore is thoroughly informed of my condition, and is most qualified to prescribe what is necessary. Lately Pharmacists are playing God while simultaneously failing the medical community especially the people that are in severe pain. A Pharm now trumps any MD or specialists (when a pharmacist can't even write a script lacking a medical degree) .WTF!
