Oblong Pills No Marking

My friend gave me 2 pills she claimed were extra strength excedrine, but I had my doubts. They were bright red, no markings, and shaped like the white excedrine migraine. She gave them to me because I told her I was tired, but they really did not have any effect that I was aware of. She claimed the caffein would pep me up a bit, but it didn't. ## If there were no markings on them, it is going to be difficult to determine exactly what they were. It is possible that they were a generic or store brand of Excedrin Migraine, which would contain Acetaminophen, Aspirin and Caffeine. The amount of caffeine in each tablet is only 65mgs, so if you are used to ingesting large amounts of it, such as in coffee or sodas, then it probably wouldn't have much of an effect on you. However, in the...

found a soft cap brown elliptical pills with no markings in a bag outside the car of my daughters friend... any ideas what it could be? haven't been able to locate it on drug finder. ## I found 2 of these pills under my bed. Also wondering what they could be ## brown capsule no markings ## Tan oblong pill with greenish black liquid insipide capsule ## If there are no markings, it is difficult to track down what they are. Approximately how big are any of them that have been found? If they're tiny, I wonder if they may be Marinol and the marking is just too small to see. Since it's derived from THC, it's commonly diverted and abused in the mistaken belief that people might get high from it. Learn more Marinol details here. ## i have the same pills and its a diet pill, but ...

White oblong pill no markings - looks like it could be generic lortab 10. Can u help? ## I don't care what shape or color they are - Any controlled substance "will" have a code number always... Also, it will be scored for breaking in half. You can take this to the bank. ## Keith is correct about the marking, however, that is only true if they are manufactured and/or approved in the U.S. If they have no imprint, they can be ruled out as being a legal U.S. prescription medication. However, the score mark is not actually required on them, or on any other tablets. Where were they found? ## I purchased Tylenol with Codeine in Canada that are white and have no markings on them whatsoever. ## I just got these white oblong pills with no markings. Does Vicodin fit this description? C...

The exterior is a smooth black. Its a rectangular cupsule type shape. There are no markings, it is solid. Not liquid or gel. 1/2 a inch long and 1/4 in width. The interior is a tanish compressed powder, with a little yellow and white. Smells like something sour, not in an old kinda way. ## @russains123, Being that there's no markings, it may be anyone's best guess as to what it is. However if I were you and had the resources I would probably look into getting the contents analyzed by a lab for 100% verification on the substance's identity. From your description, it doesn't sound like any type of dietary supplement I've encountered (with the exception of some pre/post workout supplements) - but I wouldn't put it past being something more natural either since there...

These pills fell out of my son's pocket. They were in a small individual packet. He has had trouble in the past with drugs and I just want to know if this is something kids are experimenting with? ## Hello, Mary! How are you? I'm sorry, but without any markings, it's going to be difficult to determine what they contain with any certainty. Did you try asking him about them? They are most likely something that's available over the counter. I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you.

I received these pills from my doc today but don't know what are. ## Hi,Niki! Did you ever discover what they were? DId your doctor mention anything, when they gave them to you? Where they a prescription or something you received in the office? If you aren't sure, there's really nothing wrong with calling and asking them about them. They shouldn't have a problem, it's wrong to expect you to take something, without telling you what they are for and what they contain.

I found 2 maroon pills in my sons backpack. There is no identifying imprints they are soft gels about an inch long. Can you please try to identify them? ## U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have a unique imprint on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. However, the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, so there are many, many pills on the market, both over the counter and prescription that meet that description. In this case it just comes down to who your son got the pills from and whether or not it was a reliable source. Other than that there's not much you can do, since there are no markings on the pills. I would initially assume that it is probably some sort of party ...

I ordered what I thought was percocet from a web-based pharmacy. They did nothing. How can I find out what they really are? ## Hello, Linda! How are you? I'm very sorry about what happened. Unfortunately, that is a risk of ordering in such a manner and not getting them through a legitimate U.S. pharmacy, there's no way of knowing if you'll actually get what you ordered. And as to finding out what they really are, the only thing you could do is pay to have a sample lab analyzed. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hi I found a cigerette wrapper filled and sealed with very large (1 in x .50 in x 1/2 in size) dark green (almost metalic looking) pills in my son's room. Can you please tell me what this is? It dosn't have any markings on it. I am pretty sure that it being used for drug abuse. Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated! ## I understand your worry, being a mother myself. However, without any markings, the only way to really be sure of what it contains would be to pay to have one of them lab analyzed somewhere. U.S. prescription tablets are all required to have markings to enable their identification, in case of emergency. However, there is no such law for over the counter products, or for products from foreign countries. Have you tried asking your son about t...

Checking to see if you can tell me what a white oblong pill with no markings except a score on 1 side is. My Dad has been taking them and within a few hours of taking it, he is slurring his words and stumbling around. Need to find out what they are. Thanks ## I'd take it to a pharmacy they should be able to tell you what it is, I don't know of any narcotic that doesn't have some sort of marking. If you find out please post, you have me curious ## Deb is correct, a narcotic that's available for prescription in the U.S. would have some type of marking to enable its identification, the same is true of all other prescription products. However, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products and there are some that can cause those types of symptoms if taken...

I found some small, oblong white pills and I was wondering if anyone knew what they were. They have no prints or scoring on either side, they are totally plain. If you lick them they taste sort of tangy, and bitter. Does anyone know what they are? I don't think they could be E because they are not round, and have no prints on them... ## I have some at the moment they are generic for Tylenol. Hope it helps... ## Actually, without a marking, it is very difficult to say what they are with any certainty. There are many over the counter items that meet this description, some are Acetaminophen, but not all. There is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. It can, however, be ruled out as being a U.S. prescription medication, since they are all required to have markings ...

I found a white oblong pill with 18 on one side and blank in the other. It was scored in the middle. This was in my sons room. Can anyone help to identify this pill? ## Based on the description provided, I found your white oblong pill to be Ibuprofen (800 mg). NOTE: the correct marking is actually "8i" (with a capitol i). Manufacturer: Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 55111-0684 Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug used for relief of symptoms of arthritis, primary dysmenorrhea, fever, and as a mild pain reliever. red oblong pill, rather large, there are no markings on it at all ## What is this big maroon pill. No markings. Is it an anabolic steroid? ## Hello, Since the pill does not have a marking on it I won't be able to give you an accurate answer as to what is inside of the pill. What I can say is that in the United States the FDA requires that all controlled medicines have an identifiable marking/imprint on them so it is extremely unlikely a prescription medication. This leaves you with the possibility of being a number of things such as vitamins, illegal substance, supplement, dietary pill etc. Since there are far too many brands and types of these available on the market you can see why it would be near impossible to actually identify something like this without having it analyzed by a...

white oblong no markings score on one side ## does anyone know what a white oblong shaped pill scored with no other marking is? it says Stellas International, UK ## I placed an order over the Internet for 10G generic Amben. Well guess what, they are fake. Each pill should have some type of identifying letters or numbers. BEWARE!!! ## The law regarding them having to have identifying numbers is only relevant to the U.S. and Canada. Other countries do not have the same regulations in place, so you could very well receive medications from another country that does not have any markings on it, but may still be exactly what you ordered. The problem, of course, is that without any markings, there is no way to be certain that they are what you received. In the U.S. if a tablet doesn't have...

I found an white oblong shaped pill with absolutely no markings on either side and it tastes sort of sour or bitter when you lick it. found it in my daughters room ? anyone know? ## I can't imagine it is a pharmacy/Dr prescribed medication. All medicines, except vitamins, need a marking to be identified. Unless she got them from overseas pharmacies (black market) sent to her. I have had some xanax come with no markings.

It is an oblong oval solid maroon pill, with no markings on it at all. it is flat along the sides of it. About this---> ( ) long when I put it up to the monitor. I am just curious... Kinda mysterious without a label. ## Well, it can be ruled out as being a prescription tablet, because they are all required to have markings to enable their identification. So yes, it is most likely some type of over the counter product. Unfortunately, that really doesn't tell me the size, since my monitor may be different than yours, so things like text and symbols may appear smaller or larger to me. As to the pill, I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else have any ideas?

Just found white oval soft gel no outside lettering or markings with an orange substance in the inside. Any ideas what this could be? ## Hi Bean, Honestly there's no way to really identify something that has no markings, unless you get it lab tested. But based on your description, I get the sense that this is more than likely some sort of dietary supplement, such as omega-3 fish oil, vitamin E, or some other OTC medication. I can only say that because I have actually seen certain fish oil and vitamin supplements both come in gel capsules like that. Did you just happen to find this pill somewhere or were you sold it?

white oblong capsule shaped no other markings ## I would need an imprint or markings in order to locate the correct pill. Please post back with any more information so I can help you locate the correct pill. ## I too have found this white capsule, powder inside, has very small indentations along one side of the capsule, roughly 10 indents in all. I have a pharmacy in my bathroom, I have liver cancer, and I was told by a pharmacist over the phone it was Roxicet, but my research has disproved that. Any ideas would be helpful, at least till I can take it on a field trip "the pharmacy", hopefully they will help. If you know please help.
