What is this white round pill with 54 345 on it and has a serrated line? I got it from a Dr and put it in a pill box and did not label it. ## Hello Sue, I've been searching everywhere but I just can't seem to find a pill that has the imprint 54 345. I found a small white pill with the imprint 54 543 but not 345, is it possible that you simply memorized the second part and wrote it backwards? If that's the case then the pill would be a Roxicet 325 mg / 5 mg which is used to treat pain/chronic pain. If it turns out to be the roxicet let me know if you would like additional information and I can provide more in depth information on the pill for you to have. Have a good day. ## So is this 54-345 round white pill a narcotic like oxycodone ?? ## My doctor prescribed it for me and ...

white oblong capsule shaped no other markings ## I would need an imprint or markings in order to locate the correct pill. Please post back with any more information so I can help you locate the correct pill. ## I too have found this white capsule, powder inside, has very small indentations along one side of the capsule, roughly 10 indents in all. I have a pharmacy in my bathroom, I have liver cancer, and I was told by a pharmacist over the phone it was Roxicet, but my research has disproved that. Any ideas would be helpful, at least till I can take it on a field trip "the pharmacy", hopefully they will help. If you know please help. Good day to you, and thank you. ## i found a white oblong shaped white pill with deep green powdery contents

white pill labeled with numbers 54 543 ## 54 543 is Roxicet containing 325 mg Acetaminophen + 5 mg Oxycodone ## I rather take roxicet 5/325mg. For my headache pain my dr perscribe Percocet 5mg/325 but I rather take roxicet 5mg/325 it works better. What pharmacy can I get my prescription filled at? ## They both contain the same active ingredients, 5mgs of Oxycodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, they have just been manufactured by different companies. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. (NDC 0054-4650 among others). Inactive Ingredients: - Silicon Dioxide - Croscarmellose Sodium - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Stearic Acid

does roxicet show up as perocet on a 12 panel drug test a friend taken a roxicet from when she had them before and she needs to know if they come up the same. ## Yes, the active narcotic in both of them is Oxycodone, so both would show up the same on a drug test. the other active ingredient Acetaminophen, is not tested for on these. The one thing, however, that she does have to watch out for are the levels of it that are in her system. Many of these types of tests not only look for the presence of the relevant narcotic(s), but also how much of it is in someone's system. There are certain levels, within a given range, that they will expect to see in someone that is taking them regularly, as prescribed. If someone's levels are too low, this is a warning sign to the doctor that the...

THE ONLY THING THAT HELPS MY SPINAL STENOSIS & HERNIATED DISCS &DEGENERATIVE DISC DISEASE IS VALIUM+DILAUDID 4-8MG. OR ROXICET 30MG OR ROXICODONE ## Hello, Unfortunately, no one can really know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe, as that is based on the doctor's discretion and not just on someone else's previous appointment (especially since many doctor's are now worried about losing their licensing for prescribing too many narcotics). Some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any 'specific medication' when you see a new doctor. Just make sure to transfer or take a copy of all your medical records with you. Then, the best approach in my opinion, is to discuss up front and honestly what has or hasn't worked for yo...

capsule ## First off, I would like to state that there is no medication called Roxicet. This is a confusion of the names of two different brand name medications; Percocet, which contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone and Roxicodone, which just contains Oxycodone. The Oxycodone is a narcotic and can cause side effects such as: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Can you provide the imprint from the capsules? That will enable to us to help you determine what medication you have. ## sorry but you are wrong, roxicet is the new generic form of percocet, I just got some from CVS for a migrane and it said on the bottle "ROXICET 10/500" ## have got roxycet from a drug store in GA. they are generic and they are red and white with no marking i have never seen this before. I do l...

Have you ever seen a roxicet 15 that is a small oval pill with RP on one side and 15 on the other? ## Hello, Kat! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 15mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation, so it is a generic for Roxicodone, rather than Roxicet, which would also contain Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have had gastric bypass and I have a serious issue when it comes to the absorption of medications. I have severe chronic pain. My physician prescribed roxicet solution however I can't find a pharmacy in a 100 mile radius that has it available. What do you suggest? ## Hello, ChiChi! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. How have you been checking with the pharmacies? If you've been calling them, then it isn't likely that you received an accurate answer. They have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate customer with a need or a potential thief, so they usually just say that they don't have any controlled substance. The only way to really find out is by physically going to the pharmacy, with your prescription in hand. T...

Been trying to feel prescription for (11) Days I live n Metro Atlanta Georgia Need to know A Pharmacy that carries It ## Barbe, If you cannot find a pharmacy that carries it find a pharmacy that does "compounding" as they will be absolutely able to make this up for you. The doctor may have written it for a different amount than is carried in the box. Again a pharmacy that does "compounding."

A FRIEND IS TRYING TO TELL ME THAT A ROXICET PILL IS BLUE AND HAS THE NUMBER 824 ON IT? ## Hello, Chrissy! How are you? No, there is no Roxicet, Percocet or Oxycodone tablet with this marking. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. As a matter of fact, I can't find any tablet with this marking. Is there anything else I can help with?

my doctor said they are DISCONTINUING making ROXICET, and that they arent making these anymore due to the deaths of users, and high addiction rate? is this true or is he lying to me? I am in much pain and this will no doubt be bad on me. ## Hi Todd, According to Roxane Laboratories, Roxicet Oral Solutions with the following National Drug Codes (00054-3686-63 / 00054-8648-16) are currently undergoing a 'shortage' as of March 16th, 2015. Their alleged reasoning behind this shortage is reportedly due to them "validating a new source for raw materials". The manufacturer also reportedly discontinued 5 mL unit-dose cups of Oxycodone + Acetaminophen back in July of 2014. However these changes are said to have not affected the availability of tablet form Oxycodone + Acetaminophe...

Is one pill stronger than the other between the 512 pill and 54/543 pill? ## Hello, Keikey! How are you? No, they've just been manufactured by different companies. The one with the 54 543 on it is the name brand Roxicet that's manufactured by Roxane Laboratories and the one with the 512 on it is a generic that's manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, but both contain 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

The prescription drug identification databases list this as being a Roxicet tablet, like Percocet, it contains 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Colonoscopy on Monday... no aspirin allowed for a week... have toothache... can I take a producer today?? been taking Tylenol...acetaminophen. Anyone??? ## Hello, Rick! How are you? Roxicet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, so there is no Aspirin in it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If you're allowed to take Tylenol/Acetaminophen, then you should be abel to take it, but checking with your doctor would be best. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have 2 roxicet 5-325 tablet that expired 9/28/2012. Out of the ten that were prescribed the two left look in good condition don't smell funny or anything. Going out of my mind with a migraine and wondering if they are safe to take since I've got nothing else and can't drive. ## Hello, Sandy! How are you? This medication doesn't get dangerous, once expired, but it does begin to lose effectiveness, so it may no longer work as well as it did, when it was new. Due to the Acetaminophen in them, taking extra isn't safe, so it would really be best to dispose of them and see your doctor for a new prescription. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipati...

Roxiet seems to be the only thing that helps me be able to function. I get energy, less depression and less anxiety. Is there a more non-addictive substitute. ## Hello, Tootie! How are you? No, all narcotic analgesics, such as this, carry the same risk of being habit forming and/or addictive. Usually, addiction occurs for people who experience the effects that you do, such as the energy boost and uplifting effects. What other medications have you tried to treat your issues?

My neighbor is 73 and she went to the pain clinic and tested neg for this pain med and she was released from the clinuc after taking this med for over 4 years and suffered withdrawals for 2 days as well as from oxycontin and xanax, until i happened to check on her and finally got it out of her she had been out of pain meds for 2 days and she called an ambulance because she did not know they were withdrawals and thought she was having a heart attack.
