Roxicet 5 325 Solution

I have had gastric bypass and I have a serious issue when it comes to the absorption of medications. I have severe chronic pain. My physician prescribed roxicet solution however I can't find a pharmacy in a 100 mile radius that has it available. What do you suggest?

Hello, ChiChi! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having.

How have you been checking with the pharmacies? If you've been calling them, then it isn't likely that you received an accurate answer. They have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate customer with a need or a potential thief, so they usually just say that they don't have any controlled substance. The only way to really find out is by physically going to the pharmacy, with your prescription in hand.

This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation.

What is your general location? That information may enable someone to suggest a pharmacy, if they know of one, in your area.

right now there is a shortage of the solution the company that makes it is waiting on the wall ingredient due the middle of January 2015. very few drug stores carry it CVS and one of my eyes local small Hometown Stores stock that for several customers.
it's been a miracle drug for me for the past 9 years I hope mine drugstore will begin to carry it by February

I'm a laryngectomy with gastric pullup & lingering pain for many years. I have difficulty swallowing so I take the liquid Roxicet. For the last 3 months the pharmacy's in this area have not had very much. I got 20 day supply 25 days ago & there isn't any to be had for my refill prescription. What is going on with Roxanne Laboratories? I don't know what's going to happen to me when I don't have it. Withdrawal's? I'm frightened even tho I don't take much I know I'm dependant on it for my pain relief. Now I've broken my pelvis in 2 places & had 2 broken ribs in Oct for another fall. Thanks.

I also had the bypass surgery, not only do I have trouble with absorption but I also have trouble with taking the pills. Your stomach opening is now the size of an eraser on the end of a pencil. This is why my doctor recommended the liquid. I have lumbar fusion, cervical fusion, disc degeneration and a herniated disc. Roxanne Laboratories has discontinued this medication since July 2014, the problem is, they still aren't producing anything in it's place. What I want to know is why they discontinued it while they didn't have a replacement for it? Is the government requiring them to discontinuing it and why? Why won't they make the old version until they have a replacement? What is wrong with these people? All I want is some quality of life and ability to move around the best I can with what I am dealing with...The pain!

This is a specific amount which differs from the normal.

All you need is a pharmacy that does "compounding", they can make up unusual amounts.

I've lived with intractable pain on pain management for many years.

Due to P450 disorder I am an ultra rapid opioid metabolizer.

I get the regular solution for I must use other then pills I metabolize too fast it is equivalent to 100mg/5ml or 20 mg/1 ml.

This is without Tylenol which is better for you. You can get this and it is made by Roxane.
