This tablet is listed in the NIH database as containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen - It is a generic or store brand of Tylenol. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and headache. I've been taking 2 Norco 10s for years. I've just decided to try and switch to Tylenol 3s. For less Dr visits and refill purposes. How many equals what I've been used to because they don't seem to help and I'm not feeling so well? ## The Codeine in the Tylenol 3 is much milder than the Hydrocodone in the Norco. Each 10mgs of Hydrocodone is equivalent to 66.67mgs of Codeine, thus you can't safely take enough enough of them to be equivalent in efficacy, doing so risks a toxic overdose from the Acetaminophen that's in it. my wife takes potassium chl tab twice per day..she threw up 6hours after takig a pill and the pill came up. iput one in vinegar and h2o at eleven am and it still has not dissolved.its 7pm now ## It can be hard to dissolve many pills, especially those that are meant to be broken down by stomach acid, which is quite different from water and vinegar. Some pills, also release their ingredients, without the body of the pill ever breaking down, it is normally expelled in our waste. So roughly 2 Tylenol 3 for each Norco. However, the problem is that you can't double up that much due to the dangers of overdosing on the Acetaminophen in them, because that could be fatal. My mom took 3 norco without letting me know. I monitor her meds and give her one every 4 hours if needed. I have been addicted to lortab, norco, viocoden for 20 years I took between 14 to 3 a day. Today I am on norco 10/325 5-6-7 a day. I was given Suboxone 8mg/2mg. how many days does it take to get norco 10mg out of system if you dont take regularly. ## If you're speaking with regards to a urine analyses, it can generally only be detected for up to 3-4 days after your last dose. All I need to know is how many norco 5's equal one 25mg fentanyl patch? I usually use fentanyl patches for my severe sciatica pain but I ran out and missed my regularly scheduled appt due to my husband having surgery. I do have a new appt but not for a week and I have norco 5's of mine I can take til then but I need to know how many will be close to the pain control I get from the patch. ## The Fentanyl is much, much stronger, so you aren't actually going to be able to take an equivalent dose of the Norco, especially since it also contains Acetaminophen. 3M has discontinued making Norgesic Forte. I am trying to find out why as I have taken this medication for years? Can anyone offer their experiences with taking Norco or its various generics? How long have you taken it? I have just been prescribed this. ## I have taken Norco and the similar drugs like vicodin for many years. It is helpful for treating moderate pain for short periods. If you take opiate based pain meds for long periods of time you can build up a tolerance and you have to take more to get the same results. Need advice! I came to this site with the same issue, over a year ago - I'm one of unlucky people that has extreme sensitivity to "fillers" in most white colored norco 10-325 generic. I FINALLY found the dark yellow Qualitest. It was a VERY PAINFUL 3 month struggle! Now, with currant conditions, can't find this brand anywhere near me! Last 8 years have been fighting constant pain unless I can sleep. After many, many, many medicines for pain, I was prescribed percoset. I did not have side effects with this until my doctor in Richmond had bad surgery, retired and of course no longer practices. I actually was able to speak with him and he listened. I had surgery on Thursday and my doc perscribed me dilaudid 4mg 30 pills to be exact I have taken about 26 of them since Thursday and they haven't done anything for me do u somethings wrong?? ## It is possible that this medication just does not work for you.
