HEY DOES ANYBODY KNOW ANY PAIN PATCHES THAT START WITH THE LETTER N ## Hi Wormie, Based on my research, Norspan patch (buprenorphine) is the only relevant match I'm finding that begins with a letter N. The manufacturer advertises it towards treating chronic severe pain when lower doses of strong opioids are being considered. However, further notes from the Rational Assessment of Drugs and Research (RADAR) suggest that more familiar opioids such as morphine are generally more preferred for managing chronic pain since they also tend to offer a broader range of dosages and formulations. I hope this helps!

In the 70s there was an OTC analgesic you could buy for pain. It was not Aspirin or Tylenol. It began with the letter "E". (It wa not a compound; Excedrin.). I have been wracking my brains to no avail. Thanks in advance. ## Somebody saw this question on our Facebook page and is suggesting: "Empirin # 4". Does that ring a bell? ## Yes it does, and was my first thought. I guess I thought the medication was an aspirin alternative, so when I looked up Emperin and saw that It IS asprin I wondered if there was another answer. Thanks for the reply! ## Empirin ## There's a narcotic beginning with an E called Endocet (Percocet) for pain.

If i was concerned that my daughter might be shooting this type of pill, what would I be seeing? ## This tablet contains 8mgs of Buprenorphine, which is a very potent narcotic, it is used in both Subutex and Suboxone and this is a sublingual tablet, so there'd really be no need to take it via injection, it's designed to dissolve under the tongue and work fast. Learn more Buprenorphine details here. The effects would be similar to that of other narcotics, drowsy, dizzy, pinpoint eyes and etc. Has she been known to shoot stuff up? ## if so it would be hard to notice physical symptoms since they're probably use to seeing her high all the time on a much more powerful opioid. I heard that they are going to stop making the lorcet 10mg. Is there any truth to this? ## Hello, Lauren! How are you? Not that I'm aware of, I've not seen anything stating such. They did, however, change it to a schedule 2 medication at the beginning of October, so it can no longer have refills. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. They did discontinue the ones with the higher amounts of Acetaminophen in them, due to the risks associated with its overdose, so you can only get dosages with a maximum of 325mgs per. Is there anything else I can help with?

My pain doctor just informed me that he can longer offer refills on my norco because of it being classed as a schedule 2 drug norcotic now. That means i must go every month now and pay for an office visit. I know that is true in New York but i am not aware of any changes in Alabama law. Anyone know of a Florida pharmacy that is filling written prescriptions for hydrocodone? Have not been able to fill for almost a month. I live in St. Lucie county. What the neck is going on? ## I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. This medication was changed to a schedule 2 drug at the beginning of October, which created a delay shipping it to pharmacies due to necessary labeling changes. On top of that, we are into the time of year when there is almost always a shortage of controlled substances, due to mandatory manufacturing limits. Once a manufacturer reaches their limit for the year, they can not manufacture new product, until the new year. Every year that I can remember, demand has exceeded supply and resulted in shortages.
