Medicine For Severe Headache

I was warned about the headaches as side effecyts which would disappear with pain The headaches have been far to severe to endure and I'm no wimp!! My 17 year old daughter is using Minerva and Purbac for acne our house doctor prescribed both, she has been experiencing severe intense headaches, and as well as nausea, she went to another docotor yesterday i dont think he even ask her what meds she is currently taking he however told her that i should take her for a brain scan? its so drastic he also prescribed Sandox and Loxiflam, she has been using Minerva and Purbac for 5 months isint their a chance that the headaches could be due to taking these meds? ## Hello, Elaine! I suffered a Severe Traumatic Brain Injury about 2 years ago. I continue to have severe headaches. Every single day. A permanent headache My neuro says that with my kind of injury this is not uncommon. This is not a "migraine". Closest to a "cluster headache". Without medication, it just keeps getting worse - feels like a brain freeze. Anyway,. I have been taking 10/325 Norco for a little over a year now. I started at 2 per day, that worked pretty good, then I started having to take 3 per day to be somewhat pain free. Now, that doesn't do it most days. I guess I'm building a tolerance. Hi I've been getting massive headaches every single day since I started using oralcon its my 3 week on the pill so I just wanted to know if this is normal?I know headaches are part of the side effects but mine is really really bad and nothing takes the headaches away!please help ## No, while it can cause headaches, as a side effect according to NIH Reports, it is not normal for them to be so severe. I began taking Imdur 30mg on December 15, 2015 because I began to have attacks of angina. I did not realize that I was supposed to be taking Imdur all along following 3 Stent insertions in June. The severe headaches began immediately - they are so debilitating I can not function. These headaches, which I read are supposed to lessen after a few days, have not. The headaches today are just as severe as they were a month ago. Hello. I have a decayed wisdom tooth for which I'm being treated with Amox 500mg 3 times per day... This is the second round of ten days worth antibiotics, and it seems as though there is very little change in symptoms.. My shoulder, eyeballs, neck and head hurt so badly, especially when darkness occurs, that ALL I can do is sleep it away... The Amox gives an enhanced pain deep inside my Sinuses and on the top right side of my head... It feels sas though my right eyeball and the top of my head are going to EXPLODE!!!... I can't get it removed until the 23rd of May, and am at my Wit's End!... The infection in the right side of my neck is still causing the Lymph Nodes to swell, and turning my head is painful... I don't want to continue the Amox, because the pain it causes ...

I deal with chronic headaches as well as occasional migraines, and nothing has seemed to have an effect except vicodin. I was just prescribed fioricet and took one earlier and then another an hour or so later as the dose is 1-2 and the first wasn't effective. Three hours later my headache was just as bad and I took 2 more as I thought taking them an hour apart may have made them less effective.It's been over an hour since then and still no relief, I do maybe feel slightly dizzy and out of it but it's very slight...should I just give up on fioricet and see my doctor again? I'm in college and go to a very difficult school and I'm having a very hard time keeping up with the workload and even getting out of bed and going to class. This side effect may be temporary until the body has time to adjust to amoxicillin. Initially in 2011 I noticed severe left side body pain + headache nusea. Later on left side body pain is not troubling me much though I have been suffering since then for left eye pain+ headache. I was diagonised for Cervical Spondylysis and of and on I had taken paracetamol + the petril+ vertin dosage at that time . after that sos when the headace is severe I was taking naproxyn. I was prescribed Cymbalta by my doctor for migraines and muscle tension headaches. i am suffering from migraine although my medication is over in time when i do have a headache i take paramet as an sos which gives me relief from this pain although sometimes i do have to take 2 pill never have i taken more then this .I just want to know its future implications on my body and health. ## Have you consulted a doctor? Just got out of the hospital for PE after 36 hours on a heparin drip, and with my first dose of eliquis nearly immediately had a migraine. Took tylenol and sumatripatin (i'm prone to migraines) but no relief until i finally fell. asleep. woke up, took my next dose of eliquis (10 mg), immediate return of headache plus bonus! heart started racing, too. I' was told I had bp & I hv to start taking bp tablets of which I did in january & I stopped...got severe headache..my headache veins wl be pumping hard & sumtimes I feel like there's water In my head so I started taking bp tablets again that was in July...bt my question is my headache & the veins it hasn't stopped ...wat I want to know is is it still bp ## How high were your BP readings? I have been taking xarelto for five years for A-Fib and have been having pain in both hips and severe back pain and nausea in the morning and degenerative disk disease In the neck. I am now weighing 98 lbs. and am 81 years of age. I have severe headaches almost every day. Could xarelto cause some or all of these problems? ## Wow, Joyem! And yes, according to FDA reports, Xarelto could cause some of these side effects, or possibly all of them, depending on the person taking it. I am having headaches and sleeplessness. My doctor advised me to take Alprax 10 since 2002. I am taking weekly twice or three times, if I stop I get severe headaches at temple muscles and no sleep. Is this symptoms of depression and anxiety? Now I have severe muscle twitches / contractions, involuntary movements. Is this from Alprax 10?

I was on Metformin for 25 years. Dr told me to stop using it switch to Gilpizide because I am 80 years old. Apparently it could take you out in that age group. I have been taking contrave for 2 months. My side effects are tiredness in the afternoon and neasua in the morning. They are not enough for me to quit. This morning I vomited from the neasua and with the force of the dry heave I got a sudden severe headache lasting about one minute. Then a dull headache ever since. Second night I got a really bad headache, it could have been from sugar withdrawal. Headache lasted through day three. I did not take contravene on day three, scared of another headache. My question is will headaches get better/worse? Should I give it another go? ## It seems like my headaches got less severe and less frequent after a few weeks.
