I have celiac sprue and have problems taking any pharmaceuticals. My physician wants to find the source of my excessive coughing and has ordered a swallow test that requires me to drink several types of Barium products. I have spent days researching the ingredients for the Varibar Thin Liquid, The Varibar Nectar Thick Liquid, The Varibar Honey-Thick Liquid, the Varibar Pudding Thick Liquid, and the Barium Tablet (Pill). I plan to contact the manufacturer as well, but want to research the ingredients first. I am kind of stumped on the last two ingredients in the Barium tablet such as the microcrystalline cellulose and the povidone. Sources have said these may contain gluten. Are there better products to take for contrast in this type of testing under the situation I am dealing with?

I have been on a suboxone program for the past 4 years through a Dr. from another city. My family doctor recently started the program and I went to him for a consultation because he's right around the cormer from my house. I was honest with him in letting him know I was currently on a program and that I did not need a perscription that day (I still had about a week left from my other doctor). I was on a 1mg dose, once daily and became pregnant. My doctors told me i could continue use. It scared me too much so i stopped immediately. I had no withdrawls. Panic attacks however, did hit me once and a while while pregnant. It took 2 weeks to leave my system. Im on 2mg xr of xanax now and i can feel my body needing my medication when it wears off unlike instant release xanax. Not sure why? I wouldnt suggest anyone just stop taking these medications without doctor supervision and a plan set up by your doctor. Everyones body is different and reacts differently to any medication. If your taking these and not prescribed them, tell your doctor. If hes any good. He can help you get off of them. Honesty is key.

Do they make 4mg subutex or the generic form with no markings? Its white with no markings. ## Hi debby, According to the FDA, there are no legitimate prescription drugs (made here in the US) that do NOT contain markings/imprints of any kind. So if it's "supposed to be" a subutex, I personally wouldn't trust whomever told you it was, provided that they live in the US. And even if they got it from another country, there's no honest way to verify the contents of a tablet like this one without getting it analyzed by a lab first. So I'd say it's best to not take this pill until further notice, at least to be on the safe side. I hope this helps!

Hello, I started chantix 16 days ago. im 30 and ive been a pretty heavy smoker for quite a few years. ive only decreased my smoking very little and im getting worried cause I honestly have all intentions on quitting. the only side effects I have are weird dreams, fatigue usually 15-20 mins after I take the med, it usually gives me a warm rush followed by the sleepyness and I get shakey and quite anxious. is there anyone who can reassure me to hang in there? lol I have 3 kids and they need me, especially smoke free. ## Are you also trying to stop smoking? I have been taking diazapam at 5/10 mg. /day for 50 years due to AS in my spine. Should I be taken off these tabs, as there appears to be a 6 week max. time for usage!!! Thank you. ## Hello, Roger! How are you? 50 years? That is a very long time and I have to honestly say that you're going to need to consult your doctor about this. These medications create a risk of seizures if stopped abruptly and not properly tapered. Thus, your doctor would be the best person to advise you if you need to stop taking it and, if so, the safe way to do so. I'm on 10 mg of hydrocodone. I have surgery in 3 weeks on my colon, the fifth one in a year with 2 more to go after this. I have not lied and this is all I take other than celexa 20 mg once a day and over the counter benedryl for sleep. My count will be low today. My plans for when when I get better and I've discussed this my doctor is to completely with their help to detox and never to take this again if possible. I've always been honest and I will today but I have had more pain this month and have taken more. Will I get kicked off because of a low count? ## Good luck! I've been on soboxone for 3 years. I'm now having a bad bout of Colitis, Very painful. Day 5 off soboxone and my Percocets are still not breaking through? Help???? ## Because suborn is a blocker . This is so sad. If medications were legal for responsible adults, we would not have this problem. This problem lies with the fact that many people sell their medication or abuse it. Be honest with your physician and you will be amazed at the help you will get. BTW, methadone will kill you. If you aren't ready to detox, go to someone that prescribes Suboxone. It will not cost you anymore than methadone will. You will get a monthly supply. Just reading these posts breaks my heart. It is obvious that many of you are drug addicts. Hey guys. I am new to the northern Iowa area. I have been dealing with chronic pain for 21 years. Up until 2 years ago, I had never done anything but take Nsaids for pain. But then I started taking vicodin, and then last year my pain doctor started prescribing oxycodone and a muscle relaxer. It has been the only thing that has helped me. I've tried injections, physical therapy, and acupuncture. Now that I have moved, I am having a terrible time finding a pain clinic that will provide my meds. Everyone I have seen in the northern iowa, Minnesota area has just been awful. Truly, awful. Does anyone know of a kind doctor or clinic that prescribes opioid medications? I've always heard the mayo clinic system was the best... however I can honestly say, they are the absolute worst :(
