I take deplin 7.5 once a day with lexapro 10mg, for depression. These meds were prescribed by my psychiatrist. I also take a metnax tablets twice a day for non diabetic foot and hand neuropathy. This med was prescribed by my foot doctor. I have biopsy proven sarcoidosis of the lungs, joints, kidneys and eyes. Is it okay to take deplin and metnax together? Are these the same drug and can I overdose taking them together? ## Hi, I work with Deplin. I think I just answered you on another thread, but just to provide information to other readers, here it is again. L-methylfolate is an active ingredient in several medical foods manufactured by Pamlab LLC. We recognize that patients may have multiple diagnoses that may warrant prescribing more than one of our medical foods. Although each medica...

Is there any sub. for this pill? l-methylfolate w/b6-b12 tablets I am on SS and do not have extra money. My med. d provider does not list this medicine, so I have to pay for it. ## Hello, Cliff! How are you? I'm sorry, but what you've listed is a generic, so it's already cheaper by its very nature and there are no assistant programs for it. However, if you look towards the right of the pages on this site, you'll see a link to a printable pharmacy discount card. It's free to sign up for and may help you save some money on it. Does anyone else have any ideas? The FDA states that some people experience nausea, when taking this supplement, since it's pretty potent.

Taking L-Methyfolate for depression..800 mcg. daily...How much of it would be equivalent to Delphin 7.5 mg? ## Hello, From what I could gather, Delphin is listed as being another brand name for L-Methyfolate. However, to answer your question about converting the dosage, 800mcg is reportedly equivalent to 0.8mg. This means that you would essentially have to multiply your 800mcg dose roughly nine and a half times in order to reach 7.6mgs... just a tad less and you should be at 7.5mg in that respect. Do you find that it really helps with your depression?

My doctor wrote me a script for Deplin. L-methylfolate. The first day I took it along with my effexor, I felt so sleepy and couldn't do anything because of it. I would just fall asleep . That night of the day I took the pill I went to bed around 10:30 PM and didn't wake up until 4:30 the next evening. I had 3 messages on my phone from my daughter that was getting worried about me. I just woke up at exactly 4:30 PM the next day. I was suppose to go pick up the rest of my medicines but it closed at 5:00 PM. The day I felt like that really felt good since I haven't been sleeping very well at night. I would try and try to go to sleep and couldn't . I am so tired of being so slowed down then what I use to be. I'm not lazy , I just don't have the unction to function. D...

Pill ## Sorry, I can't find anything under that name, could you please double check the spelling? ## I am trying to figure out whether there is a cheaper substitute for Deplin (l-methylfolate). it is not listed on the canada drug site where I buy my meds. ## Can you get deplin? or a generic for it? Need prescription? If so, why, just a vitamin? ## Deplin L-methylfolate contains 7.5 mg (milligrams) of L-methylfolate. There is various stuff with L-methylfolate, where each tablet contains 400, 800 or sometimes 100 MICROgrams of L-methylfolate. Please tell me your experience how long does it take ## Deplin is actually considered to be a “medical food” rather than a drug. Apparently it contains L-methylfolate, which is a biologically active form of vitamin B9 (folate). From what I've read, this nutrient can be a direct source for what some people require to make adequate quantities of neurotransmitters that help balance their mood. The study being done was pertaining to L-methylfolate's additive effects in treating depression; whereas it could potentiate the effects of another antidepressant medication (essentially giving it a boost). Evidence seems limited but perhaps it's still worth trying if you're looking for other ways to elevate your mood during an anxiety attack. I hope this helps! ## Hi Ther...
