Where could I find metichol tablets? I need a prescription. ## Hi Ana, I'm not seeing very much definitive information on what Metichol actually is, but other reports here suggest that this supplement contains a combination of Choline (vitamin B4) + Inositol (vitamin B8). To my knowledge Choline and Inositol don't require a prescription, especially since you can easily find vitamins over the counter or online. I wish I could say for certain that these are truly the contents of Metichol... If anyone could help verify the content above that would be great. It just seems a little strange that Metichol related info is so scarce. Makes me wonder if it's made outside of the US... ## Where can I buy metichol? I would like to find a place in Negar, México.

Hi. My 90 year old Aunt suffered food poisoning a few months ago and was hospitalized. She has taken a daily laxative for years- which worked effectively and predictably. She has been put on Altosec 20 for months now - her bowel movements are now more urgent and frequent. Is this a side effect or an intolerance of the Altosec? Since the food poisoning, she is also taking a daily vitamin - DS-24- vitamins/minerals including iodine 140ug, 20mg calcium, choline 5mg and molybdenum. Is the Altosec 20mg perhaps too strong? Not compatible with some listed minerals? Appreciate your advice. Many thanks. ## Hello, Louise! How is your aunt doing? Yes, there is a chance that it's due to the Altosec, it has been known to cause diarrhea as a side effect, as reported by the U.S. FDA. Other side ef...

How long after I stop taking choline inositol will it take for the medicine to get out of my system and the side effects to go away? ## Hello, John! How are you? The FDA classifies these as supplements, not actual mediations, so the data on that hasn't been studied. How long were you taking it? What types of side effects did you experience? Sometimes, it may cause some facial flushing, nausea, loss of appetite and body odor. Did your doctor tell you to take it?

Inositol works in conjunction with choline to prevent the accumulation of fats in the liver. Additionally, it helps the body utilize the nutrients in food. Due to their synergistic nature, Inositol and Choline are commonly found in supplements together. Some people take Inositol and Choline supplements to naturally supplement their efforts for overall health and cholesterol reduction, say...

Found a bunch of pink oblong pills with PLIVA 530 on one side and a slit down the middle on the other. ## This is Choline Magnesium Trisalicylate 1000mgs, a generic for Trilisate. This is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, used to relieve pain and swelling. It can be dangerous to be using this high of a dosage without doctor's approval or without the doctor knowing you are using it. I could affect the thinning of your blood as well as what other meds they can safely prescribe.
