Hi, I think I have laryngitis. My ear/throat hurts. I'm currently talking sertraline. Is it safe to take a pentraxyl to rid the possible infection? ## Hello, Totoro! How are you? No, it is never a good idea to take an antibiotic, just because you think you might possibly have an infection. If you don't and take one, you create the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. It would be best to see your doctor and only take an antibiotic, if they confirm the presence of an infection. Then you also need to make sure to finish the full course of treatment, as prescribed. Is there anything else I can help with?

is it safe to use them together also with topramate ## No, Sertraline and Phentermine should not be taken together, they are known to increase the toxicity of each other, which can cause a possible life threatening reaction. Has your doctor instructed you to take all of them?

Sertraline is an SSRI class antidepressant and while it may help a little with some anxiety and mood swings that you could experience, you'd need to be on it for 4 to 6 weeks for it to reach its full efficacy level. I started Setlakin on April 22nd, I then started bleeding on May 20th. It’s non stop. It’s not spotting, it’s like a normal period. Cramps, bloating, all of it. I called my OB and she told me to double up for a week, which ended already so I called again to report no change and the nurse ignored me and said I need to give it time to work itself out. 20 days of bleeding is a LONG time. It’s ruining my relationship, the irritation and constant cramping. Thankfully we’ve been together for 2 years and we know this will pass but for the love of all that’s holy I can’t handle this much longer. Has anyone else experienced this and how long did the bleeding last for you? I know everyone is different but I feel there’s no end in sight! Help! ## Thi...

Now l am on my 7 day free break once again and want to know how I can determine when my period will come? Please helped me!! ## It can be a normal side effect of oral contraceptive tablets, to have irregular bleeding for the first 3 months, while your body adjusts to the medication. However, as long as you have taken the active tablets each day, exactly like you are supposed to, then you are still protected against pregnancy. And you are still protected during your break week, even if you do not bleed, at all, that week. Is there anything else I can help you with?

Please help! I took setraline 50mg a full pill for two days when. I was only to take half how long till its out of my body ## Hello, Chris! How are you? If it was only for 2 days, there's not likely anything to worry about, but you should inform your doctor to be sure. However, it is often dosed in amounts as high as 200mgs a day. If you were only supposed to take 25mgs, then you should just drop back to that, now. The FDA classifies this medication as an SSRI and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight gain. Is there anything else I can help with?

No imprint,no numbers, suspect told us that it is oral insulin, ornage and white capsule about the size of a tylenol 500mg capsule maybe larger ## Sorry, any prescription drug sold in the US legally, or manufactured here, has to have unique markings for ID purposes, as per the law set in place by the FDA. If there are not markings, it either has to be counterfeit, or an over the counter item or supplement.

I am 56 years old. I was diagnosed with "GERD" 3 years ago for which I was prescribed SETGI rabeprazole sodium and domperidone formulation - 1 capsule daily. I have been using the medicine since then without any side effects. Have noticed that since last year, I can do with one capsule every alternate day with no adverse effect. However, discontinuance beyond that the diagnosed problems resurface all over again. Is it OK to continue taking this medicine kind of lifelong? Thanks and Regards.

I'm confused ...I thought Northstar was the more effective brand of Sertraline, but now I'm finding it's not helping. Is Green Mt. a better Sertraline brand? Or something like Green Mountain (not sure that's the actual brand name). AAARGH. ## Hello, Denise! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no definitive answer that I can give you, it can vary from person to person. My 21 month old grandson was born with NF1 and has siginificant plexiform nonmalignant tumors especially of concern on his spine. He has had one surgery on a double tumor at the base of his neck in January which went well, but the tumors continue to grow despite interferon treatments which have now been discontinued. His neuro oncologist now is considering the use of trametinib a kinase inhibitor designed for use to combat melanoma. My concern is two-fold: the significant potential side effects, and the cost. Anyone else dealing with a similar set of circumstances? I would appreciate your advice/observations regarding this drug, how to obtain it at a reasonable price, and whether health insurance is likely to cover the cost of treatment. ## @Prexie, Sorry to hear about the condition you...
