will augmentin work on a bladder infection ## Augmentin contains the active ingredients Amoxicillin and Clavulanic acid, it is used to treat many types of infections. However, unless you have definitely been diagnosed as having a bladder infection, you should not use it. If you do, you run the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. I have Gerd. Have taken amoxicillin many times for bladder infections, but now am taking AMOX TR-K CLV for the first time for another bladder infection. The Gerd is really "acting up". We are in China and home on the 27th of February. Will the drug apo-tramadol/acet 37.5/325mg help me with a bladder infection until I get home or do I need to go to a hospital or clinic for another drug? I have been taking apo-sulfatrim 400/80mg which has helped but it is not completely gone and still feels uncomfortable when I pee. I only have 8 pills left of the apo/sulfatrim so not enough until I get home.

It is Saturday night and My female K-9 has uncontrolled urination and last time this occurred about a year ago the Vet prescribed Cephalexin 500mg. Bacterial vaginosis can be difficult to clear up, it does have a nasty habit of returning and the bacteria may have just spread to the bladder, as well. I was on narcotics for 1 year due to a disk problem. I stopped for 5 weeks and after 2nd week I felt severe pain on my hip and lower sides, so back I went to my Dr. She assumed I had a urine infection and prescribed me an antibiotic. The first week of treatment didn't work so I went to the hospital for blood work, U/A's and a CAT scan that came back with a bladder infection. The Doctor prescribed me this apo-sulfatrim ds 800/160mg, 84tab for 42 days. This is antibiotic and im worried that it will damage my kidney. Should i take all this 84 tablets? ## Hello, Connie! How are you? Do you have a kidney problem? If so, this antibiotic should not be taken. If you do not have an existing kidney problem, it can be taken, but you should be advise to drink plenty of water, unless you're on medical fluid restriction, because it has been known to cause kidney stones.
